The goal of this presentation is to provide an overview of the main BIS-related
services and processes running on the BIS Login Server. BIS – Main Processes and services 1. Main BIS Services 1.1 A1_BISStarter This service starts the other BIS-related services with delay. 1.2 A1_Proxy-Verwalter This service is started by the A1_BIS Starter service and manages server components among themselves. This includes OPC servers. 1.3 A1_EventLogManager This service checks the content of the Eventlog_entries folder, then writes the events into the SQL database. If stopped, no events are written into the logbook. 1.4 A1_BisClientproxyWcfServer This service provides the WCF (Windows Communication Format) interface for BIS. This is required for the communication between BIS and the remote site BIS or a BMS (Building Management System).
