PROJECT BANTAY
(Barangay Assistance oN Traffic And students safetY).

OVERVIEW:
Talisayan National High School lies along the barangay road of San Jose, Talisayan, Misamis
Oriental in which it has a two-lane road. With this width of the road, it causes traffic when dropping
the students in the morning.

Talisayan NHS School Governance Council has observed a growing concern regarding traffic-
related issues within the school premises every morning. The vehicular traffic poses potential risks to
the safety of students, impedes the flow of daily activities, and may contribute to environmental and
infrastructural challenges.

Talisayan NHS School Governance Council hereby requests Barangay San Jose to Send
Barangay Tanod to help facilitate the traffic every morning during class days as anchored in the
implementation of project BANTAY (Barangay Assistance oN Traffic And students safetY).

OBJECTIVE/S:
The project aims to:
1. To manage and facilitate the loading and unloading of student passengers every
morning at the gate.
2. To ensure the safety of the students.

ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED:
Presence of barangay Tanod every morning at the gate to facilitate traffic.

CURRENT STATUS:
The presence of the barangay tanod lessens not only traffic but also fights outside
the school campus premises. Thus this project is very effective and important.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS/ISSUES/ CONCERNS:
 Presence of barangay Tanod every morning at the gate to facilitate traffic.

 During rainy season, it is on the great challenge on the tanod on duty.
