6. Residual Strength Analysis of a Stiffened Panel.

Role : Trainee Design Engineer.
Client : Internal Project.

Contribution :
A fuselage stiffened panel with bulkheads & longerons with a central crack
at a critical location was analyzed using MSC Patran & MSC Nastran and
MVCCI method was used to Post-process the results obtained from crack
analysis. Hand calculations were performed to obtain the SIF values as a
function of crack length and a residual strength plot was made.
