of the OptiX OSN 1800 V
The OSN 1800 V is a new product in the
OSN 1800 product family and is MS-OTN
equipment. It has more slots than other
OSN 1800 products.

service slots. Its capacity reaches 700 Gbit/s
ODUk/PKT, 280 Gbit/s SDH higher order
cross-connections, and 5 Gbit/s SDH lower
order cross-connections.

Are there any restrictions on the installation
of different service boards in different slots?
The cross-connect boards, power boards,
and fan boards are installed in fixed slots.
There are some restrictions on the
installation of other service boards.
Let me introduce you the restrictions.
Because slot 19 has no cross-connect service
1 bus, it cannot house a packet board, tributary
board or line board in the case of DC
configuration.
