composite solutions for oil & gas and petrochemical industries in the KSA. Being a Materials & Corrosion
Engineer cum Business Development Engineer at SOG, my responsibilities include:
• Performing the critical asset inspection for the corrosion risk and Remaining Life Assessments
• Preparing the technical and commercial proposals/bids for projects after reviewing the RFP/RFQ scope.
• Involved in the project completion reporting and invoicing.
• Conducting product & procedural research to develop an in-house facility for non-metallic composite
systems in compliance with local content regulations
• Assisting management in evaluating proposals for establishing partnerships and JVs.

In this position at CTI, which is a progressive start-up company in the field of non-metallic composite repair
solutions, I was the key person to initiate business development in the kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Along with the composite repair business, I also promoted the sales of other tools, including bristle blasters and
zinc coating. My responsibilities include:
• Communicate with potential customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of
products, equipment, and services after performing market analysis.
• Coordinating with local partner companies for pre-qualifications with various organization
• Making the materials estimation and quotations for the received RFQs
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and
engineering trends
• Identifying short-term and long-range issues, recommending options and courses of action, and

As a QA/QC Engineer in one of the companies specializing in steel construction in the region, I was involved in

Being the only QA/QC Engineer in the company, my responsibilities included:
• Performing analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations, and processes to Quality
Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or
government regulations
• Developing and implementing methods and procedures for the disposition of discrepant material and
devising methods to assess cost and responsibility
• Maintaining quality records and test certificates and submitting the final dossier
• Quality control and monitoring during fabrication as well as in the erection stage
• Compiling training material and conducting training sessions on quality activities.

S&S Management was a new startup based in Bahrain that provided various critical infrastructure solutions in
the MENA region, including corrosion protection, engineered composite repair, and novel coatings. At S&S, I
would remain involved throughout the project duration, from its design to its completion, encompassing the
following activities:
• Conduct inspections of the critical asset and defect assessment based on the client’s inquiries
• Performing the Corrosion risk and Remaining Life Assessments
• Preparing the repair designs, technical proposals, and procedure statements
• Managing the work projects along with the QA/QC procedures
• Assisting with the sales team via attending technical meetings with potential clients

NONMETALLIC PIPING INSPECTION Certification by NOV Saudi Arabia Limited
After five days of NONMETALLIC PIPING SYSTEMS TRAINING, organized by the Nonmetallic Materials
Association (NMA) in collaboration with NOV Fiber Glass Systems Saudi Arabia, I acquired both theoretical
knowledge and hands-on experience in the manufacturing, installation, and inspection of non-metallic
Fiberglass pipes, including RTR and RTP. At the training conclusion, I successfully secured certification for
inspecting non-metallic pipe systems.

PROJECTS
Corrosion Failure Analysis of a Production Tubing in a Gas condensate well
Failed production tubing in a gas condensate well operated by Ocean Pakistan Limited (formerly Orient
Petroleum Limited) was analyzed for the cause of failure. The major causes of failure were determined. Different
strategies were suggested to prevent such a sudden failure in the future.
