Creating Charts from Existing Reports
GR run Creates chart from existing column-
formatted report.
Options: I Vertical line chart (default)
b Vertical comparative bar chart

m Mixed bar and line chart
c Scatter chart

GRID run Creates chart input report from existing

Creating Organization Charts
GOC (Generate Organization Chart) function
Global Parameters
BACKGROUND Sets chart background color.
COLOR Sets screen color (Default = Black).
COLUMNS Displays lowest level as two vertical
columns.
CONFIDENTIAL Adds "CONFIDENTIAL" to upper right
corner.
FONT Sets character font.
HORIZONTAL Displays lowest level horizontally.
IGNORE Ignores $DATA command errors.
LEVEL Defines new level.
PAGE Adds page number to chart.
PLOTTER Outputs result on graphics plotter.
SCOPE Displays result on graphics terminal.
STAGGER Displays lowest level as two horizontal rows.
SUB-LEVEL Defines sublevel.
VERTICAL Displays lowest level vertically.
Data Commands
$APPROVED Adds approval lines in specified position.
$BLANK Adds blank line in data.
$BOX Draws a box around each item.
$BOX-COLOR Draws colored boxes around each item.
$CONFIDENTIAL Adds message regarding confidentiality of
chart.
$DASHED Draws dashed lines for each item.
$DATE Adds date in format M DD, YYYY.
$DATE0 Adds date in format YMMDD.
$DATE1 Adds date in format YYMMDD.
$DATE2 Adds date in format DD MMM
$DATE3 Adds date in format YDDD.
$DATE4 Adds date in format YYDDD.
$DATE5 Adds date in format DDMMYY.

$DUTIES Adds duties lines to top of chart.
$END Marks end of GOC commands.
$JUSTIFY Justifies text within boxes.
$LEVEL Begins level for following data lines.
$LINE-COLOR Draws colored lines to connect items.
$LOWERCASE Preserves uppercase or lowercase of text.
$MISSION Adds mission lines to top of chart.
$NO-BOX Omits boxes for each item.
$OBJECTIVE Adds objective lines to top of chart.
$PAGE Adds page identifier.
$RESPONSIBILITY Adds responsibilities lines to top of chart.
$SIGNATURE Adds signature lines to specified position.
$SOLID Draws solid lines for each item.
$SUB-LEVEL Begins sublevel for following data lines.
$TITLE Specifies title of chart.
$UPPERCASE Converts all characters to uppercase.
