Life experience is said to be one of the best teachers because life throws it all at
you, molding you into a better individual. It is our obligation to keep improving by
learning from these encounters. Everyone has faced difficulties at some point in their
lives, but they should never stop striving to become better individuals. I had
encountered some difficulties at some point. It wasn't as big or as complicated as other
people's problems, but it shaped me into who I am today, a better person than I was
before.

During my junior high school years, I was enrolled in a special program. They say
high school is one of the most exciting years of your youth, but in order to get a better
education, I enrolled in a special program. It wasn't bad and I had learned the ample
knowledge that I wanted and needed. It was also enjoyable to spend time with friends
and attend school-related events, but there are times when we are so overburdened
with activities that it exhausts me. I wouldn't deny that the burnouts caused by the
overload of school activities had caused me to slack off and do things mediocrely. It
also made me a great procrastinator who complains more and does less. As previously
stated, the challenge that I faced was not as substantial as what other people faced, but
my younger self was taken aback by how different things are then compared to when I
was in grade school. The good thing is that I gradually learned to adjust. I had adapted
to the pressure and did not let it consume me throughout my four years of high school.
I'd learned that slacking off only causes activities to pile up until you end up doing
nothing. I realized that doing things out of mediocrity only makes you feel worse about
yourself because you realize you could have done better and the results could have
also been better. Finally, I have reflected on how procrastination is the root of all of my
bad outputs because you tend to believe that because you were able to finish things in
a short amount of time, you will be able to do so the next time.
During my first years of high school, I was influenced by negative thoughts. I
wouldn't blame it solely on culture shock because that's what I wanted to be and
that's the path I had chosen. It was wonderful that my family was there to support me,
especially when I was having my drawbacks. They had shown me how important it is to
rest, that we may not give up on our goals, but we may give up on ourselves one day if
we try to push through. People develop differently; some shine under pressure, while
others glow when well-rested. Never settle for less; always try and strive for better in
everything you do. Keep working and dreaming of a better life. But, in between these
ideas, remember to keep yourself on track. Check in with yourself, learn what the best
method is for becoming a better person, rest when necessary, and hustle when you're
at your peak of motivation.
