BARANGAY BULUANGAN – SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN
MINUTES OF THE FIRST KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN ASSEMBLY
NOVEMBER 18, 2023
A general assembly meeting of the Barangay Buluangan Sangguniang Kabataan with the Katipunan ng Kabataan, was
held in the Barangay Plaza, Brgy. Buluangan, Guimbal, Iloilo. The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Hon.
Yvonne Jane Tanate, SK Chairperson. Started with a prayer of Ms. Ma. Ravel Elarmo.
A. AGENDA
1. Presenting of Committee of every Kagawad Members
Education and Culture by SK Kagawad Torres
Anti-Drug Abuse and Social Protection by SK Kagawad Edquila
Sports Development by SK Kagawad Garpa
Environmental Protection, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction and Resiliency by
SK Kagawad Ilagan
Health, Health Services and Reproductive Health by SK Kagawad Mercado
Youth Employment and Livelihood by SK Kagawad Lecubu-an
Gender and Development by SK Kagawad Gayorgor
2. Appointed Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer and Secretary.
Presenting the newly appointed Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer Ms. Remm Deossah Daniel and
Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary Ms. Genica De La Cruz.
3. Barangay Sports League
Everyone agreed to have an Intra-Barangay Basketball League and Inter-Barangay Volleyball League with the
tentative date of opening on December 2, 2023, Saturday at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
I. Preparation and Training
A general Kabataan meeting will be held on November 18, 2023
The deadline for team line-ups will be on November 19, 2023
There will be training for game officials on November 19, 25, and 26, 2023 and a practice
game will also be done.
II. Presenting the Rules and Regulations of the game
a. Basketball
-There will be two (2) basketball game categories—Junior and Senior.
Junior Basketball
Composed of children ages 15 and below.
Team members will be randomly selected.
Each team should have a maximum of 10 members.
The games will be every Saturday afternoon, at 4:00 P.M.
One game per day scheduled.
Senior Basketball
Composed of youth ages 16 and above
Team members can be randomly selected or teamed by purok, yet random selection is more
recommended.
A game bond of Php 500.00 will be strictly required.
Each team should have a maximum of 10 members.
Games will be scheduled every Friday and Saturday evening, at 6:30 P.M.
Two games per day scheduled.
Only one (1) import player is allowed.
-Suggested game referees are Flor Denmark Edquila, Emmanuel Gayorgor, Joselito Gempara, and
John Francis Tanate.
-On the game opening, all teams are required to have a maximum of 2-minute group performance
together with their muse.
b. Volleyball
i. Each team may have mixed gendered members.
ii. Maximum of 12 members per team
iii. There will be a game registration of Php 500.00 and a bond of Php 500.00
iv. Games will be scheduled every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, at 2:00 P.M.
v. There will be two games every day scheduled.
III. Others
There will be a championship players’ night on January 6, 2024, Saturday.
There will be a players of the game posted on our FB Page.
To provide mineral water for the players.
4. Clean-up Drive
a. Will be on November 25, 2023, Saturday and will start at 7:30 A. M.
b. From river to Barangay plaza
c. Bring your own cleaning materials and mugs.
d. Snacks will be care off to SK Kagawad Joevel and SK Kagawad Ashley
5. Activity for the Barangay Fiesta – “Search for Miss Teen Buluangan 2024”
a. The activity date will be on January 12, 2024
b. Contestants are ages 13-19 years old.
c. Every SK Kagawad should have a contestant.
6. Other Matters
a. Parol making contest for Barangay Christmas party and there will be Christmas Carolling.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:03 p.m. with the number of attendance 38
participants.
