Before the transformation, the catch registration process was manual and paper-based, involving
paperwork completion by fishermen and manual data entry into back-end ERP systems. This
process was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. However, by implementing mobile
apps and digitalizing the catch registration process, Royal Greenland transformed its business
processes. Fishermen can now quickly submit catch data digitally using a mobile app, eliminating
the need for paperwork and simplifying the entire process.
This transformation has streamlined operations, improved data accuracy, reduced errors, and
optimized the catch registration process. Moreover, it has facilitated better allocation of procurement
