University entrance exam is just around the corner.

Being aware
of how important& crucial the exam is, however, not many
students have yet figured out a study method or technique that
actually bring them the progress. Thats why we are here today in
this video to show you guys How to Study Smarter Not Harder by
some study method & technique that would help you study more
effectively and increase your productivity. ( these method n
technique is so helpful as it not just be applied in studying but
could also be in working as well, so stay tune)
1. The 80/20 Rule ( also called as The Pareto Principle)
-The Pareto Principle states that 80% of consequences come from
20% of causes.
- It is commonly applied to productivity by Creating your to do list &
prioritizing the tasks that will have the biggest impact on your goals.
-By applying this Principle in your studying, it can help you study
more efficiently.

2. Pomodoro:
Ex: Do you guys know that Elon Musk works 100 hours a week but
he has a 5-minute rule, which is one of the best time management
techniques. It makes you divide your day into blocks of time. Each
block is dedicated to accomplishing one or more tasks
--> This is also a form of the Pomodoro Technique, which is a time
management method that involves breaking down work sessions into
25-minute intervals with short 5-minute breaks in between.

But anyway, How can we apply the Pomodoro technique in studying?

+ Firstly, You have to Identify a task that you need to complete.
+After that , you’re gonna Set a timer for 25 minutes.
+ Now Work on a task with no distractions for that 25 minutes
+ And then, When the alarm sounds, take a 5-minute break.
+ Finally, After Repeating the process for 4 times, now Its time for
you to take a longer 15-minute break and then start all over again.

 Do you guys know that an average person have an attention span

of about 25 minutes, which they can work most productively  By
dedicated to one task for 25minute intervals and each break is a
chance to reset and bring your attention back to what you’re working
on, POMODORO techique is so effective in helping you to manage
your time ,improve concentration & productivity .
3. Active Recall - Retrivial Practice
Active recall is a retrieval practice which can significantly improve
your memory retention and academic performance.
With active recall, you learn by retrieving information from your
brain. The act of doing so helps you to have a deeper understanding
of the in4 AS THE SAME TME remember even better in the long-
term.
It is scientificially proven to be The Most Effective High-Yield
Learning Technique.

- sq3r method
- The Feynman Technique

+ SQ3R: SQ3R is a reading comprehension method named for its five

steps: survey, question, read, recite, and review
+S- SKIM the S is for Skim: survey or skim over the entire text.
Skim means to look something over at a bird’s eye, it includes: the
main headings, bolded words & any pictures or diagrams
This will give you an idea of what the material is about.
+ Q – Question the next time is ask question: create questions around
the text content
+1st R – Read the 1st R in the 3 Rs is to Read: Actively readING the
text, trying to answer all of the questions you created. ( this is the
stage of reading for understanding)
+Recite The next R is to Recite Aftering the reading part, answer the
question without the book ( SAY IT OUT LOUD!) + summerize
everything you read in your own words  This is the active recall
part.  Whether by writing or talking to yourself it will help you to
recall from memory the information you learned, thereby, you’ll more
likely to remember it later
+Review The final R n the final step in the process is To reveiw:
read through your notes within 24h or do a review regularly  this
will help transfer in4 into permanant memory.
-FeYman: Have you ever struggled to understand a complex subject
despite hours of studying? if so, Feynmen Technique is for you!
The Feynman Technique is a powerful learning tool that help you
grasp complex concept by breaking them down into simple terms.
Named after American Nobel laureate Richard Feynman, The Feyman
techique is a powerful learning tool that can help you improve your
understanding of any subject
But anyway how can we apply this techique in our studying?
*There are four key steps to the Feynman Technique:
1.Choose a topic n start studying
Whether its studying through a book, teaching or online. Its your
choice!
2. After studying , write everything you know on a blank page
Write it down as if you were explaining it to sb else
trying to explain the materials in such a simple words that even
children can undertstand it
--> if you actually understand the concept well enough
One of the famous quote ofFeynman “If you wanna master sth, Teach
it!”
As you explaning it to sb else, it can help you to identify the gap in
your understanding, Its is important to note them down! These are the
gaps you still didnt understand bc you still cant explain it well

3. Study again to understand the gap

-What your gonna do ? Go back studying n try to fill any gap of your
own knowledge
-Repeat the process until you understand everything
--> The aim of step 3 is to remove these weaknesses and turn them
into your strength.

4. Simplify & ReFIne

For complex topics, you will need to repeat the steps in the Feynman
technique many times. Until you can explain the concept in simple
terms using the simplest language possible
Remember, you are teaching the concept to a child  Cut out the
complicated words n jargon By simplifying your explanation you'll
develop a deeper understanding of the subject n be able to retain the
in4 more effectively

KB:
SO those are some methods n techinique that can help you’ll study &
work more effeciently. I hope after this video you’ll try those method
n figure out what works for you most efficient so that you can apply
in your exam for upcoming exams.
“You can get ahead by working harder and hardwork does pay off.
But if you embrace working smarter, It will get you go further than
that. So Study harder is good, but Study Smarter is better. Focus on
being productive instead of busy. Be focused be persistent never quit.
Learning is you superpower ,stop wasting time or doubting
yourself ,Study now and make it happen. You can achieve anything
you set your mind to” Wishing you success in your exams.
Thank you for listening!
-Loci: ( sherlock holmes ( famous consulting detective in stories )–
used this method to memorize anything  not invented by SH but
adopted by ancient Greek dated back 2500 years ago )
“Loci” is the Latin term which means “places” or “locations”. The
technique involves envisioning a location or physical space that you
are extremely familiar with. In this spaces you attach the terms and
information you are memorizing to various spots/locations within that
place.  vage  lets learn how to apply it in learning
This method involves Creating a mental journey along a well-known
route, for example, through your house. The first 10 spots , of the
journey might be:
1.The bed in your bedroom
2,The closet in your bedroom
3.toilet in the bathroom
4. bath in the bathroom
5. TV living room
6. Sofa living room
7. parents room
8. sister room
9. stairs
10 front porch
Then, take a list of ten terms of informations that you want to
memorize, “.For example, you could try memorizing the following
physic formulas list:

Now .Attach each items to each spots or furniture in your house

Finally, when you try to remember the items, visualise those locations
and go through them one by one in a sequence to recollect all the
information.  memorize information by recalling stored information
& train your brain n improve photographic memory
--. Expand the memonic list to 30 50 80 100 objects or terms of in4

+ Spaced repetition involves spreading your study reviews over a few

days. The “spaced” part of spaced repetition refers to the gaps of time
in between study sessions. You might review information right after
school and then actively recall the information in a few hours, a few
days, then a few weeks later
 it helps them to retain information for longer periods of time,
which is highly effective in improving long-term memory recall

1. Morning
*morning routine sets the mood for your entire day.
Mood can definitely affect productivity.
it seems our best option for encouraging a mood that will help us be
productive is to get our day off on the right foot from the beginning.
*some effective morning routine hacks you can build into your ritual:
+ Wake up earlier
One 2021 academic study found that waking up just one hour earlier
was associated with a 23% higher concentration rate and people who
wake up earlier are seem to be more productive.
+ Create The Morning Routine That Works For You
Ex: My ideal routine include making the bed, taking a shower and
then heading into the kitchen to have and good cup of coffee which is
a part of my morning ritual that keep me going for the day.
+Get enough sleep.
Mounting evidence suggests that a good night's sleep seriously boosts
productivity.
When you get sufficient sleep, not only your health but also focus and
brain function improve. Therefore improve study performance.
+ Exercise
Not only Sharper thinking clarity, sanity, better memory, better
concentrate.
+ Meditate
just 5 minutes of deep breathing, reflection, and tension release can
work to decrease stress levels and increase overall productivity
2. Create an action Plan
It is a simple but efficient tool to make you stick to your goals and
knowing clearly what to do, therefore increase your discipline n
productivity.
How to Create measurable goals? If you’ve ever heard of “SMART
goals,” this is exactly where it applies. letters of the acronym
SMART:
Specific (simple, sensible, significant) What is your goal?
Measurable (meaningful, motivating)  How will you track your
progress?
Attainable  Is your goal realistic?
Relevant (reasonable) Does the goal align with your overall plan
Time based (time limited) Give your goal a deadline

Break down your long-term goals into manageable 'chunks' short-term

tasks monthly, weekly to daily  clearer and more realistic and then
you know exactly what you have to do specifically to achieve your
goal, you will not be overwhelmed but more productive

4. Discipline
keeping yourself focused on assignments or in classes, not getting
yourself distracted during lectures or times of study and making sure
that you’re on track with deadlines.
