RESOLUTION 002, SY 2023-2024
Resolution on Voluntary Participation in Junior and Senior Prom at Culasi
National High School
WHEREAS, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Culasi National High
School (CNHS) recognizes the importance of fostering a sense of camaraderie,
cultural appreciation, social development and safe and inclusive environment
for all students;
WHEREAS, it is essential to Culasi National High School to organize social
events aids in promoting unity, understanding and celebration among the
students of Junior High School specifically the Grade 9 and 10 and Senior
High School;
WHEREAS, the Junior and Senior Prom is a significant event in the lives of our
students, providing opportunities for socialization, celebration, and the
creation of lasting memories among the them;
WHEREAS, this event is a great opportunity for the Grade 9 and 10 and Senior
High School students to come together in a formal setting, fostering bonds and
making unforgettable experiences;
WHEREAS, the Parent-Teacher Association(PTA) of Culasi National High
School affirms that participation in the Junior and Senior Prom on March 22,
2024 at CAP Auditorium, shall be entirely VOLUNTARY BASIS for Grade 9 and
10 and Senior High School. JS Prom fee of Php 700.00 to defray the
mobilization for the said activity;
WHEREAS, the Parent-Teacher Association(PTA) of Culasi National High
School authorizes the class advisers of Grade 9 and 10 and the Senior High
School to collect the said fee on staggered payment to alleviate the burden on
parents in paying the full fee at once;
WHEREAS, the school will provide a safe and secure means of transportation
to the students and their respective advisers will monitor them during the
entire event;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
1. The PTA of Culasi National High School affirms that participation in the
Junior and Senior and the fee is on VOLUNTARY BASIS.
2. No student shall be compelled or coerced into attending the prom against
their will.
3. The school teaching personnel and PTA shall collaborate to ensure that
alternative activities are provided for students who opt not to attend the
prom, thereby fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion for all
students.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the event shall be conducted in accordance
with the school’s rules and regulations, ensuring the safety, decorum and
enjoyment of the participants
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the committee be organized to conduct a
smooth flow of the event and successful celebration of the JS Prom.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall be communicated to
the school teaching and non-teaching personnel and to the parents through
PTA meeting for the consideration and approval to proceed with the planning
and execution of the JS Prom.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the Culasi
National High School Parent-Teacher Association.
