FLEXIBUSTER & MUCKBUSTER PROCESS

Flexibuster™ and Muckbuster® are modular wet Anaerobic Digestion (AD) systems. The systems are
self-sustaining as a proportion of the CHP output energy is used to power the automated digestion
process and feedstock is diluted using liquid reclaimed from the waste. Additionally, the systems have
odour control on ventilation from the mouth, CHP and internal tanks.
Module weights shown as tare/ fully loaded.

Feedstock energy content is an important factor in the performance of Flexibuster™ and Muckbuster®,
however other factors such as pre-processing energy requirement, Carbon:Nitrogen balance and
moisture content significantly impact the overall energy output of the systems.

Flexibuster™ and Muckbuster® are a circular

waste management systems which convert waste
into valuable products: They produce electricity
and heat from biogas, and bagged compost and
grey water from liquid fertiliser.

The fertiliser output meets PAS110

standards for use of anaerobic
digestate as a fertiliser for
agricultural and horticultural
applications.

The fertiliser is high in nutrients and

organic carbon which improves soil
carbon stocks in agricultural soil.
