OBSERVATIONS, CHALLENGES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

 Due to inflationary changes brought about by the effects of COVID and the worldwide state
of affairs, commodity process have increased escalating the price of transport, cement and
steel. This from the contractors has affected their BOQs significantly.
 Mukati construction director and his team left site on 01st/08/2022 without any official
communication and have not yet returned to site.
 Heavy rains that disrupt the daily work plan hence leading to delays. Foremen are advised to
develop a weather dependent work plan i.e. do external works on sunny days and then resort
to internal works like plastering when it is raining.
