Introduction
Life will not give you what you deserve; life will provide you with what you work
for. Your desire does not just translate into success unless you take responsibility.
Many things are not favorable around you every time. There are negativity, bad
energy, and discouragement waiting to pull you down as you ascend the ladder of
success. If care is not taken, these shits can break you.
Speaking from my personal experience, I had to get shit done because my beloved
lifestyle I so cherished took a toll on me to the extent that at a point in time, I had
to remove 35cm of my intestine in emergency surgery. This is why I had to change
my lifestyle drastically to fit into the new reality and way of life to lead a healthy
life since giving up is not an option.
Getting shit done can be stressful if you don't know how to and what to do to get it
done. In this book, I will be guarding you through how you can get the shit done
from my personal experience.
“Change life before it changes you”
iv
Chapter: 1 Motivate yourself
You can’t get shit done if you are not motivated. Motivating yourself is the drive
that propels you to strive and put all your effort into getting your shit done.
I must tell you that self-motivation is generally driven by intrinsic motivation, a
kind of inner strength and drive that comes from a sincere desire to achieve a goal.
While trying to get your shit done, do not expect motivation from anyone.
The kind of motivation you need is more internal than other forms of inspiration
you can get around. Waiting for others to motivate you is like wasting your time
being idle because it will not come as expected. No one wants to deal with your
shit; you've got to do it all alone.
How do you
know you are motivated? You may ask yourself three questions to see if you are
self-motivated. The first question you should ask yourself is, "Can I do it?" if your
answer is yes, then you are building your confidence for success. The second
question is "Is it going to work?" this gives you the courage to keep trying, and the
third question is "Is it worth it" this helps you build value around what you do to
get shit done. If your answers to these three questions are affirmative, it means you
are most likely self-motivated.
1
You have self-efficacy if you believe you can succeed. You have response efficacy
if you feel it will work. This is the belief that you will get the shit done. While
trying to get shit done, it is essential to be self-motivated.
2
Chapter: 2 Organize
At a point in time, you will face a situation in your life when you will find it
difficult to cope with the constant demands of life because you've got a lot of shits
needed to be done. You would be less stressed and more productive if you were
better organized and knew how to handle these shits effectively. So, before you
become lost and disorganized, it's time to organize your life! Here are some helpful
hints to be organized!
The first and most important thing to do is keep your shits from piling up. What
needs to be settled and what should be done next are set in stone. This way, you
won't lose track of things and end up missing deadlines, forgetting about a task,
and becoming a sloppy, stressed-out bugger as a result. So sit down, ponder, and,
better yet, write out all of the tasks you need to complete to settle in. It would be
great to plan out your days in advance as this will assist you in organizing your
life!
Another helpful strategy for becoming more organized is to focus on one task at a
time. Even if you know you're good at it, don't try to be a hero and multitask.
Multitasking is stressful, and it is counterproductive when you are stressed. It
would quickly accumulate, and you would become much more disorganized. Tell
yourself to do one thing at a time, no matter how skilled you are. If you want to
arrange your life, it's a must!
3
Take action to arrange your life RIGHT NOW! Have a "do it now!" approach if
you want to order your life. Most individuals are good at procrastinating, and even
when they have a plan, they will strive to delay it. Remember that you are in
charge of your life and the only person who can help you. The more organized and
in control of your life and schedule, the less stress you will experience. You are the
first step toward a more structured life.

Chapter: 3 Behaviour
Your behavior goes a long way in getting your shit done. Let me say this, most of
us want to get something done at a particular point in time, but these things may
still be wishful thoughts if we don't build the proper behavior around them. Getting
shit done is beyond mere thinking or talking about it; if you don't have the
appropriate behavior to help yourself achieve your goal, you will discover that
your shit will remain on your wish list.
Stop procrastinating and get to work. Stop being afraid, face your fears, and get it
done. Know that whatever the case may be, it will be difficult, that it may hurt
physically or emotionally, that there will be unknowns, and so on. The longer you
procrastinate and think about it, the more difficult it becomes. You must mindset
your mindset to have the right attitude. Tell yourself, "I am not going to die while
getting this shit done" Chaos creates Harmony. It's your shit; the earlier you get it
done, the better. Make a move, don't procrastinate.

Chapter 4 Desire to be independent
We all have a choice in life, and the choice we make have direct consequences on
our lives. Being independent is the ability to choose to be entirely on your own, the
ability to decide whether or not to depend on someone or something.
Being independent is taking full responsibility for what you are doing, as we all
assume, and taking absolute responsibility for yourself. For example, you are
independent when you can decide what to eat, workout, where to live, when to go
to bed and when to get up from bed without anyone waiting to kick your ass off the
bed.
Do you want to get shit done? If you're going to get shit done, you have to
understand that you need to be independent as much as possible, and that is an
excellent choice for you. If you don't take a step forward to be independent to get
shit done, you will never have it done. Getting independent involves taking action,
fulfilling your dreams, and making yourself independent in every way. You cannot
get your shit done if you are not total control of your life. Be the sole decision-
maker in your life - be independent.

Chapter 5: Satisfied to be objective
Allow me to tell you a short story about my life. I was with a woman, and we were
married for five years. Altogether, we had a relationship of thirteen years.
However, it got to that point where every relationship gets to. What happened was
that at some point, we told one another that this was not going to work, and we
filed for a divorce. That is not good enough, is it? But I was starting to be objective
about it.
I was handling the situation; although I was thinking about it, I had to put up with
my shit and get it done. So I was alone thinking about several things going on at
that time. I asked myself what was going wrong. Why didn't it work out?
Afterward, I stopped thinking about the whole thing and instead started being
objective about it.
I was objective about the whole situation because I realized that I had got a lot of
things to fix for myself, things like cooking, laundry, and cleaning the house.
Being objective is the ability to perceive and accept things as they are, without
projecting your anxieties, mental models, or previous experiences, and to respond
wisely and intentionally to the people, difficulties, and opportunities in your life.
So the thing is, if you start to think about things as they are without attaching
feelings and emotions to them subjectively, that is the key to success. If you begin
to do this, it makes life easier and gives you the ability to make the right choice
7
amid shits because your sense of judgment is not clouded with emotions and
feelings.
Try to be objective in every situation you are in, although it will be a tough
decision to make, especially when you are conditionalized about something. I want
you to ask yourself these questions as I wrap this chapter. Am I objective about the
way I look at things? Am I subjective, and how can I change? Sincere answers to
these two questions will cue you to get your shit done?

Chapter: 6 Real Gut Feeling
We all have a gut, although as I have told you earlier, mine is thirty-five
centimeters less because they took it out in three inflammations and three times I
had a perforation in it, so I have to watch what I eat of digestion. At first, I had a
dietician I started working with to get more fiber for my stomach. In the beginning,
I quit mushrooms because it was hard to digest, so I opted for eating many fibers
instead. However, I almost don't eat them anymore, and guess what? I am getting
healthier every day. I am not saying what work for me is going to work for you,
but what I am saying is that you just have to trust your gut.
We got this gut telling us in a body language way which is good for us or not,
sometimes we have to tweak it, and sometimes we have to figure it out. Trust your
gut refers to believing your gut feelings as a way of staying true to yourself.
Following your intuition will almost always lead you down the best path for you. It
appears that gut instincts are real, and they can often guide you to excellent
decisions. Following your intuition will almost always lead you down the best path
for you.
However, trusting your gut will help you get some things done. You don't want to
have too many exceptions about food, what you do, the decision you make, and
how you live your life; you just have to trust your gut.

Chapter: 7 Appetite for nonsense
What I mean by an appetite for nonsense is simple. Probably you have a Facebook,
Instagram, or Twitter account and basically, what you do there is to connect with
people. You want to know what they eat how their babies are doing; however, it is
purely an appetite for nonsense. When you are on Facebook or Instagram, and you
are not doing it for your work, it is wasting your time.
Appetite comes with food, and once you taste it, you will want to have more of it
even when you know it is not entirely healthy. See appetite for nonsense as
someone coming to your desk at a work hour, maybe a coworker or colleague who
wanted to ask you something. It is good when the discussion is business or work-
related, but if it is not, then it is complete nonsense. Would you instead want
productive workers if it is your business, or would you prefer people spend a lot of
time idle instead of working for your business?
Most of us spend the more significant percentage of our day basically on crap,
looking at what is irrelevant instead of doing something to invest the time. People
don't have the time to go for a walk, but they can spend hours on Facebook seeing
what their neighbor is doing.
We have fifteen to twenty percent of the day when we quit doing this. We can get
shit done in this time we spend on things that are not productive.
10
Chapter: 8 Invest in your Zen
After you've cut down your appetite for the nonsense, you will discover that you
will have a more productive day and more time to yourself. Now, to not use the
time you have for another thing not relevant to getting your shit done, there is a
need to invest in your zen.
While I take this work, I can achieve two things. One is that I get some clean, fresh
air, and the other is that I can carry out my exercise routine, so I don't need to
worry about that later in the day. Take, for instance, I love walking for an hour
after dinner, let's say around 4 pm. That is investing in my zen because I can enjoy
the cool breeze of the day and get my daily exercise routine fixed.
Investing in your zen is the ability to manage your time, investing it in something
more profitable and meaningful to your life.
When getting shit done, you will get some time management going on, giving you
more time for specific things in your life. This is an opportunity for you to focus on
your to-do list, hobby, interest, work, relationship, and other areas of your life
because you don't have to fix tomorrow what you've fixed today. The more you
invest in your zen, the more you discover that you are getting your shit done.
11
Chapter 9 Energy of doing
Resilience is a key to productivity. Getting shit done does not deal with time only.
Let me make this illustration.
You feel overwhelmed when you have the energy and attention but not the time.
When you have the time and energy but not the attention, the appetite for nonsense
set in. Finally, you are exhausted if you have the time and attention but not the
energy.
Thinking about getting shit done helped me understand two of the most critical
aspects of productivity: time and energy. Time is a finite resource. Once time has
been spent, it cannot be recovered. Energy, on the other hand, is a renewable
resource. When you consider a regular workday, everyone has the same eight
hours, but not everyone has the same degree of energy. Everyone understands the
importance of being a good time manager, but managing our energy is just as vital.
Combining time and energy of doing will assist you in moving forward with your
goals and dealing with your shits. Your energy of doing keeps you going even
when it seems like you are about to give up. This resilient energy from within
inspires you to give the last push. Before you know it, one last push gives rise to
another, another last push gives rise to another, and in no time, you are done with
the shit.
12
Conclusion
Nothing can be accomplished by doing nothing. You won't achieve anything if you
merely talk about what you want to do one day. You have to make a move. Try to
write a checklist for your goals and accomplish the goals on time. It is advisable to
get into a morning routine. Write your goal where you will see it every morning.
You are much more active in the morning, and you don't have to worry about the
shit you fixed in the morning during the day. So get up early and get the shit done.
Change life before it changes you.
