 What's your favourite season and why?

 Have you ever been caught in bad weather? If so, what did you do?
 What crops are produced in which seasons in your country?

Well as Greece is a country with a warm climate, lots of crops are produced
throughout the year. We produce fruits such as watermelon, vegetables such
as green beans and carrots and crops like corn and wheat.

 Do you think weather patterns are changing? If so, why do you think this is?

Global warming and the Greenhouse Effect is definitely affecting the climate
around the world with warmer winters in places like Crete and wetter
summers. This is a consequence of human activity such as factories producing
toxic fumes in the atmosphere.

 Do you have many disasters in your country which are caused by weather?

Yes we have lots of them. One is wildfires sometimes caused by humans but
also during heat waves where trees catch fire and devastate the countryside.

We also have floods during the rainy seasons.

 Do you know any interesting myths or stories about weather?

Unfortunately I don’t or I can’t think of any specifically at the moment. Let me

think ... Well I suppose the story of Icarus and Daedulus has to do with the sun
melting his wax wings as he flew to close to it.

 Do you like snow?

Yes I absolutely love it because when it snows I can play snow fights with my
friends and do snow angels or even build snowmen

Unfortunately it hasn’t snowed for two years in my village so we haven’t been

able to do it.
 Which do you like better hot weather or cold weather?

I much prefer the Summer of course because I live in Greece where we have
long summers and go to our holiday villages to enjoy them.

 Do you have snow in your country?

winter as we have a warm climate that doesn’t create them.

o What month gets the most rain around here?)

I would say that we get most of our rain in Autumn or Winter

especially November and December. February and March are also
rainy periods too.

and December. February and March are also rainy periods too.

A warm climate because I love the summer and all of the summer activities
such as water sports and hanging out late at night with friends.

 Are there any special traditions associated with different seasons in your
country? As Greece is a Greek Orthodox country we have lots of religious
holidays like Christmas and Easter. We do also have some seasonal traditions
such as May Day and the 15th of August but they are public holidays not really
for the seasons specifically.
 What is the best season to get married?

Maybe spring because it is in the middle of the year so is not too cold or to

out with my friends and socialise.
