JRF & SRF RECRUITMENT- CALL FOR APPLICATION
1. Department of Electronics Engineering of this Institute is looking for young Scientists/Engineers for the
position of ‘Junior Research Fellow (JRF)’ & ‘Senior Research Fellow (SRF)’ to work under DRDO sponsored
research project entitled “FxxN”. Details/eligibility conditions for selection are given hereunder: -

Note:
1) The prescribed date for determining the upper age limit, educational qualifications and / or experience shall
be the last date for submitting applications is 15th May, 2024. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years for
SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
2) Recruited JRF/SRFs shall be encouraged to register for Ph.D. at this institute through proper channel as per
DIAT norms.
3) Hostel accommodation may be provided subject to the availability on payment basis
4) In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended to the
incumbent.
5) Mode of interview will be “in-person” or “via video conferencing” and whichever is suitable to DIAT and shall
be intimated to the shortlisted candidates.
6) Based on the technical requirements, the selected JRFs/ SRFs may be sent to a DRDO laboratory,
Bangalore during the execution of the said research project
7) # The JRF will be promoted to SRF for 3rd year.
8) Candidates having any national fellowship can also apply to work in this research project.

2. How to Apply: A Brief bio-data duly signed, Application form (available on website), Proof of Date of Birth, BE./B.Tech
M.E/M.Tech mark sheets and degree certificate may be sent to the email ID of the Principal Investigator
([email protected]) in PDF form as a single file, with a subject titled “Application for JRF Or SRF” on or
before 15th May, 2024.
3. Based on the suitability for the project, the applicants will be called for interview (in person or video conference). The
shortlisted (for the interview) candidate will be individually informed via email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview of any mode.
4. Candidates have to have their original applications with all necessary educational and other supporting
documents/project reports/publications etc., at the time of interview.
5. Other Terms & Conditions: -
a) Offer of JRF, SRF & PA position does not confer any right for absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune.
c) The qualification prescribed/ experience gained should have been obtained from recognized Universities /
Institutions/Industries.
d) The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle
the candidates to be considered at every stage of the selection process. In case of a large number of applications,
based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Principal Investigator may restrict the number of
candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking, the qualifications and experience over
and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement, into consideration. Therefore, it is the interest of the
candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the application clearly with supporting documents.
e) Selected candidate is required to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer letter.
