REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
(RRL)
Various research studies have explored the impact of class
schedules on students' academic performance. One study found
that a full-day class schedule significantly affected children's
academic achievement, particularly in terms of finances,
health, and physical well-being. The researchers provided
recommendations to help students maximize their
performance, including saving money, prioritizing spending,
staying hydrated, taking quick naps, practicing stress-
reduction techniques, and increasing physical activity. Another
study highlighted the effectiveness of block scheduling, where
subjects are rotated in longer time slots, in enhancing math
achievement. However, there is no strong evidence to support
the superiority of one schedule over another in overall
academic achievement. It is important to consider factors such
as individual preferences, sleep patterns, study habits,
engagement, resources, teacher effectiveness, motivation,
self-discipline, and family support when analyzing students'
learning outcomes.

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The input, which is the profile of the participants of Grade

11 students in SSA, will be the subject to achieve the
output that the research is seeking out, which is the
preferred length of school hours. This is done through the
method of administering survey questionnaires and
conducting interviews.
