Best practices
– GPS RAIM information in the AIP
• General information on GPS RAIM
• Information on the circumstances and locations for which GPS RAIM outage NOTAMs will bi
published (examples of NOTAM not included)
– Manual (guidance) for issuing GPS RAIM NOTAMs
• Appropriate source and format of raw data
• Instructions on how to create NOTAM (series, qualifier line, location, date and time schedule etc.) and
example
• Instruction on how to update NOTAM by revised raw data (replace or cancel and issue new NOTAM)

Conclusion:
– There is no need specific guidance from the ICAO. But States
should consider:
• Issue NOTAM when there is GPS RAIM outage or not availability
• If necessary, manual or guidance should be developed for AIS staffs
• Item D) - Day/time schedule should be used
• NOTAM should be brief as possible
