2.) REASON TO BUY
2.1 TOP GLOVE CORPORATION BERHAD (7113)
According to the Bursa marketplace, we decided to buy Top Glove Corp Berhad at the price
2.272. Although it is a bit pricey , we believe that by buying this company's stock could help us to
gain short term profit due to their products that were highly demanded in today’s Covid-19
situation. We also noticed the risk when we decided to invest our capital’s for pricey stocks.
2.2 HARTALEGA HOLDINGS. (5168)
According to the Bursa marketplace, we decided to buy Hartalega Holdings at the price of 5.149.
This is the biggest risk that we had taken in this investment session. The company stock prices
were expected to potentially grow soon. Based on The Star news, the share price of latex gloves
manufacturers jumped in morning trade in tandem with a renewal of interest in gloves stocks as
the identification of a new strain of Covid-19 virus.
2.3 KOSSAN RUBBER INDUSTRIES BHD. (7153)
According to the Bursa marketplace, we decided to buy Kossan Rubber Industries Berhad at the
price of 2.100. This company stock price also had been expected to potentially grow in this
coming week. Based on marketwatch.com, shares of rubber industries companies had fallen at
least 50% since the beginning of the year amid a bleak outlook for gloves prices as most countries
are making progress on their vaccination rates and the global supply of gloves rises. So, we
decided to take part in this profit making investment.
2.4 SUPERMAX CORP BHD. (7106)
According to the Bursa marketplace, we decided to buy Supermax Corp Berhad at the price of
1.771. This company share was also will be affected by the identification of the new Covid-19
varian that were found in South Africa. We believe this company could help us gain more profit
for this investment session.
7
2.5 DUOPHARMA BIOTECH BERHAD(7148)
According to the Bursa marketplace, we decided to buy Duopharma Biotech Berhad at the price
of 1.610. These decisions could be our backup plan to reduce the risk if we were losing too much
in this session. This company's stock price was also the lowest price of stocks that we had bought
in this session.
8
3.) REASON TO SELL
3.1 CAELY HOLDINGS (7154)
We have decided to sell Caely Holdings stock due to an unimpressive bounce of the stock price
where the open value remained constant to closing value which stuck at RM 0.38. This also
resulted in a negative value which means we gain loss than profit obviously.
3.2 YBS INTERNATIONAL BHD (0025)
We have decided to sell YBS International BHD due to lack of confidence to hold the stock a bit
longer because the price inconsistently dropped and bounced from RM 0.60 to RM 0.61 in its
previous close compared to its opening. We believe the price is not going to bounce even higher
anytime soon and it might bring more loss than profit to us.
3.3 ARTRONIQ BERHAD. (0038)
We have decided to sell Atroniq Berhad for the same reason why we decided to sell Caely
Holdings stock because of the constant value of opening to closed value. The stock also fell
drastically to RM 0.43 compared to its opening value at RM 0.46 at the middle of trading. This
inconsistency leads us to sell it instead of hold it that may bring us more losses.
9
4.) FUTURE EXPECTATIONS
4.1 TOP GLOVE CORPORATION BERHAD (7113)
Based on theedgemarket.com, Top Glove Corporation Berhad had surged 55 sen or 20.83% to
close at RM 3.19 and it's the highest in more than two month. Earlier in the day, its shares
climbed as much as 79 sen or 29.9% to an intra-day high of RM 3.43. So, we believe Top Glove
Corporation would be able to bring a huge profit for the investor.
4.2 HARTALEGA HOLDINGS. (5168)
New Covid-19 varian has been identified in the last few weeks. This made the market price of
Hartalega Holdings grow rapidly in the coming few days. So we expect the company will repay
our trust due to the risk we had taken to buy their stocks even though it is a risky move for our
investment.
4.3 KOSSAN RUBBER INDUSTRIES BHD. (7153)
Based on our research, Kossan Rubber Industries Berhad which manufactures and sells disposable
gloves has offered a very high profit yearly. It already brings a huge profit to the investors. Based
on our technical analysis on the chart we expect the share prices of Kossan Rubber Industries
Berhad will increase since the company has already attracted a lot of new investors.
4.4 SUPERMAX CORP BHD. (7106)
Based on our previous sessions, Supermax Corp had been one of the biggest contributors for our
profit. The company also has also managed to survive and earned high profit in this current
Covid-19 situation. In addition , we believe Supermax Corp could earn more profit for our
investment.
4.5 DUOPHARMA BIOTECH BERHAD(7148)
Based on our research, Duopharma Biotech Berhad produces integrated pharmaceutical and
health products. Due to the identification of new Covid-19 varian , this sector will be the most
highly demanded for their product. So our future expectation is that we believe Duopharma
Biotech Berhad will be able to increase the value of their profits over time.
