Legislation and regulations The product is covered by Council Directive 93/42 / EEC relating to medical
devices. It is therefore not covered by Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the
European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on the
classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures cf. Article 1,
para. 5d) of it. Regulation (EC) no
1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the
registration, evaluation and authorization of chemical substances, as well as
the restrictions applicable to these substances (REACH), indicates, in article 2
para. 6c, that paragraph IV concerning the requirements of safety data sheets
do not apply for medical devices. It is therefore not necessary to draw up a
safety data sheet for the above-mentioned product which meets the
requirements of the regulation.

Supplier Notes The PLUM Eye Wash is recommended for rinsing the eyes of all foreign
bodies (dust, dirt, shards of metal or wood), or chemical substances (solvents
and oils for example).
When eye contact with acids or bases, it is recommended to use pH Neutral
by flushing the eyes for at least 2 minutes. Continue rinsing with the PLUM
Eye Wash until the doctor arrives. Turn the eyecup to break the lid and open
User Notes the vial. Squeeze the bottle lightly so that the liquid squirts gently into the
eye. Never squeeze hard.
