MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into by and between:
The DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION LAYA WEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
with School Head’s office address at Laya West,Tabuk City, Kalinga,
represented by the School Head, JUDY S. GALLARDO, who is of legal age,
Filipino, and a resident of Bulanao Norte, Tabuk City, herein referred to as
“FIRST PARTY”;
-and-
Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) Laya West, a government
unit under the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU), organized and
exists under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines with office address
at Laya West, Tabuk City Kalinga, represented by its President, Mrs.
ROWENA A. PUGAL, herein referred to as “SECOND PARTY”.
WITNESSETH THAT:
WHEREAS, the FIRST PARTY is committed to implement and to build
partnerships and linkages through Clean and Green, tree planting and to
beautify the different learning areas WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY is a
public servant.
WHEREAS, both parties share a common objective in preparing and
maintaining the school for every learner.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the
parties hereby agree as follows:
1. Both parties shall work together to conduct BRIGADA ESKWELA,
Clean and Green, and quarterly clean-up drive and beautifying the
different learning areas on the third week of August and every quarter
of the year.
2. The FIRST PARTY shall:
1. Issue a School Memorandum for the conduct of Clean and
Green, tree planting and to beautify the different learning
areas of the said DepEd Program.
2. Monitor the compliance of the implementation of the program;
3. Issue a certificate of recognition to the SECOND PARTY for the
contribution made as a volunteer in the program
implementation after the conduct of the activity; and,
3. The SECOND PARTY shall present himself in implementing the Clean
and Green, tree planting and to beautify the different learning
areas.
4. This memorandum of agreement shall take effect immediately upon
signing by both parties from January 8, 2024, and shall be terminated
on August 24, 2029.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereunto have affixed their
respective signatures this 24th day of August 2023, at Laya West
Elementary School, Philippines.
