Introduction
If you want a reliable repertoire for Black against 1.d4 then try the Dutch
Stonewall Playbook. This plan prepares you for the lines you are most
likely to face in closed openings. Your idea is to play the Dutch Defence
1.d4 f5 as Black.

My Playbook series tells you what to play. There are 200 key positions
based on what White often plays. Five moves for Black are added below the
diagrams. That gives you about 1000 moves for your opening preparation.

Databases have millions of games with too many options that are too hard
to remember. I have developed opening repertoires for 40 years. Do you
want an easy way to start your chess games? Let me be your guide.

This book narrows your choices. It answers the question of what do I play
when I get here? I offer you help. Play this. You are given a complete
consistent repertoire. This shows you what to play in your games, not what
others played.

Most players think it takes too long to learn an opening. This is a quick
study. Think how nice it is to be familiar with your defenses against 1.d4,
1.Nf3, and 1.c4.

Imagine being comfortable with your piece development. It’s your move as
