ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, Government have decided to divert the
existing State Highway viz. Ongole-Nandyala, between 24th km to 28th km, at
Chimakurthy (V) in Prakasam District to facilitate the mining extraction for Black
Galaxy Granite deposits and to go for auction for extraction of the Galaxy Granite by
an open transparent global tender system so as to fetch more revenue to the State
Exchequer, subject to value addition to the mineral within the state should be made
a precondition of the tender and directed the Director of Mines & Geology, A.P.,
Hyderabad to take further action accordingly.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Director of Mines & Geology, A.P,
Hyderabad has requested the Government to the address the Vice Chairman &
Managing Director, M/s APMDC for diversion of Ongole-Nandyala State Highway by
acquiring the land required and for laying new road between 24 Kms to 28 Kms of
Ongole-Nandyala State Highway.

3. Further, the District Collector, Prakasam has reported that about 58 crores
would cost for Land Acquisition and Construction of diversion road.

4. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby accord permission


to M/s APMDC Ltd., to utilize an amount of Rs. 58 crores from the available funds
with them on reimbursement basis, for acquisition of alternate land for diversion of
the existing State Highway viz. Ongole-Nandyala, between 24th km to 28th km, at
Chimakurthy (V) in Prakasam District and construction of new road to facilitate the
mining extraction for Black Galaxy Granite deposits.

5. This orders issues with concurrence of Finance Department,dt.18.01.2016 in


e-office file No.1652/M.II(1)/2015 of Ind & Com (M.II) Dept.,

6. The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, M/s APMDC/ District Collector,
Prakasam shall take necessary action accordingly.
