Introduction

Parents currently spend most of their time on smartphones, this prevents them from being

aware of their children and causes them to have a great lack of social communication and

feel that the cell phone is like a kind of refuge.Allowing children to surf the internet for

hours can bring with it many negative things, it reduces interest in other types of activities

that can be a great help to have both physical and mental stability, which helps to have a

better understanding of topics Which are important.

Development

A smartphone or tablet for a young child is no longer a challenge, they will figure out how

to open it, navigate between apps and probably even make some in-app purchases in a

matter of seconds. The impact of technology on children today means that they become

computer experts from a very young age.

It is important to take into account that dependence on electronic entertainment, virtual

games, among others, in addition to affecting health in the long run, leads the individual to

isolation and loss of contact with social, emotional, and family reality, managing to reduce

the ability to of social interaction and productivity.

On top of that it can lead to everything from cyberbullying to online child sexual abuse to

Dark Web currency transactions that can make it easier to hide trafficking and other illegal

activities that harm children.

Children and adolescents across the country are also not cutting back on their media

consumption. Some teens say they send thousands of text messages each month, stay up

until 2 a.m. m. browsing social media and spend hours every day playing video games. And

this has become more intense over time, as more apps and options emerge to distract kids.

While many people see the negative impact of using such technology, there are also

advantages. The real question is what parents and teachers can do to harness technology in

useful ways, without letting children become slaves to it and the negative effects it can have

on their lives.

Parents and adults can help children get the benefits of technology with fewer negative

effects. Parents can start by making sure kids under the age of two are screen-free. They

can also play with children to include face-to-face interactions with technology and ensure

that technology does not interfere with play opportunities. Parents should also work to set

appropriate limits, including time limits, and model good smartphone use. Cybersecurity

software and systems can help ensure that children are safe while using technology.

Parents and teachers can search for quality apps that promote vocabulary, math, literacy,

and science. Adults can help make sure children learn about computing and IT as part of

using technology to provide them with opportunities for a bright technological future.

By protecting children from the worst that digital technology can offer them, and by

expanding your access to the best, we can tip the scales towards an experience higher

quality.

Conclusion

In conclusion, technology is really bad for the child population, from the issue of isolation

and losing contact with social reality to the lack of productivity, parents should take a little

more into account the time they leave their children on these devices. electronics to avoid

this type of problem.

In conclusion, with greater understanding and confidence, parents recognize and appreciate

the benefits of digital technology for their children more than parents who lack such

confidence. Helping parents learn how to keep their children safe online can help parents

understand the aspects of the digital world that enhance well-being. As such, it also

increases the potential for children to access these items.
