subject because I enjoyed the lesson.

What are your plans after Senior High School?

To pursue my dream course. It's is to become Seafarer/Seaman.

What is your career path?

My career path is to become a seaman and eventually a business owner. I'll start by completing high school, senior
high school, enrolling in a maritime academy for training and certifications, and gaining experience through entry-
level positions on a ship. As I advance in my maritime career, I'll save money for starting my own business in the
future.

What is your philosophy in life?

Practice Compassion and Kindness. Practicing compassion and kindness not only benefits others by offering
support and encouragement but also contributes to our own well-being by promoting feelings of fulfillment,
belonging, and happiness. Additionally, acts of compassion and kindness have a ripple effect, inspiring others to do
the same and creating a more compassionate world overall.

Do you have plans to go abroad? If yes, where and why?

Yes, maybe in Switzerland or New Zealand because I like their salary rate. It's a good place also. It's like hitting two
birds at one stone.

What are your dreams and ambitions?

To be a successful seaman/business owner. So I'll become financially stable by that I can provide for my family.

How do you plan to achieve your ambitions and goals in life?

By working hard for it. Because you can't achieve anything if you just kept manifesting, a dream without action is
useless.

What are your expectations and apprehensions for work immersion?

My expectations for work immersion are to gain hands-on experience, refine my skills, and learn from
professionals in the field. I anticipate being challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone, which will ultimately
help me grow and develop as a professional. While I may have some apprehensions about stepping into a new
environment and facing unfamiliar tasks, I see these challenges as opportunities for learning and personal
growth.

ACTIVITY 1 |THE WORKER

Work is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do you have the potential, character, talents, and skills to take
up the vigor of being a worker? What should you possess to become a good worker? How will you prepare for
work immersion?

I'm always prepared to work! To be a good worker, one should possess qualities such as diligence,
reliability, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and improve. It's also
important to be proactive, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

To prepare for work immersion, I would:

1. Research the company or organization: Understand its mission, values, and culture.

2. Learn about the industry: Familiarize myself with key trends, challenges, and opportunities.

3. Reflect on my strengths and areas for growth: Identify what skills I can bring to the table and where
I may need to improve.

4. Set goals: Define what I hope to achieve during the immersion and what skills or knowledge I want
to develop.

5. Practice professionalism: From communication to time management, I'd ensure I'm ready to

Yes. Because it's important to agree with and adhere to company agreements, guidelines, and rules. These
documents are typically put in place to ensure a safe, fair, and productive work environment for everyone. By
following them, employees contribute to the smooth operation of the company and demonstrate respect for its
policies and values. However, if there are aspects of these documents that someone disagrees with, it's
important to address their concerns through the appropriate channels within the company, such as discussing
them with supervisors or HR representatives. Open communication can lead to constructive changes that benefit
both employees and the organization as a whole.

1. Was there a rule that you think is not acceptable to you? Why

No, I don't find any rule unacceptable because I trust that they are prepared fairly. I believe that those responsible
for creating the rules take into account various perspectives, consider the needs of all stakeholders, and strive to
uphold principles of fairness and justice. Additionally, there are likely mechanisms in place to review and revise rules
as needed, ensuring they remain relevant and equitable over time

situation? How would you rate your skills in handling differences of opinion? Please give an example
that illustrates that skill.

Yes, I have experienced disagreements with co-workers before. In those situations, I make sure to listen
attentively to their thoughts and concerns. Once we both feel calmer, I initiate a conversation where I explain
my perspective while also acknowledging theirs. I believe in open and respectful communication as a way to
resolve differences. I would rate my skills in handling differences of opinion as 10/10 because I prioritize
comprehension and effective communication, which I consider vital in maintaining positive working
relationships. It's a communication and analytical skills.

Best example is in a team meeting focused on process improvement, differing opinions arise regarding the
best approach. Utilizing analytical skills, I assess available data to identify inefficiencies and potential solutions.

others'. Collaborative discussion ensues, leading to a consensus-driven decision that effectively addresses the
problem and enhances team cohesion.

A job interview is an interview consisting of a conversation between a job applicant and a representative of an
employer which is conducted to assess whether the applicant should be hired. How you answer questions

questions that you have come across during your first dialogue with the partner-industry work supervisor or
head of office you will be assigned.

ACTIVITY 5 | MOCK JOB INTERVIEW

1. During the conduct of the mock job interview, do you think you did well?

During the mock job interview, I believe I performed reasonably well, considering that I was feeling
nervous. While the nerves were definitely present, I'm pleased that I was still able to effectively
convey my ideas and responses to the interview questions. Despite the initial apprehension, I found
ways to manage my nerves, allowing me to focus on articulating my thoughts clearly and confidently.
Moving forward, I recognize the importance of further practice and techniques to help alleviate
nervousness in future interviews. Nonetheless, I'm proud of my ability to maintain composure and
deliver my responses thoughtfully during the mock interview.
1.What are the areas that you think you are good at and areas that needed to be improved?

In terms of my strengths, I excel in communication skills, possessing the ability to convey ideas
clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Whether it's in written form or verbal communication, I
prioritize clarity and conciseness to ensure my message is understood. Additionally, I thrive in
multitasking environments, adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously without
sacrificing quality or efficiency. This skill allows me to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
consistently. Furthermore, I am highly goal-driven, with a strong sense of determination and focus
when working towards objectives. I approach challenges with a strategic mindset, breaking down
goals into manageable steps and persistently working towards achieving them.

While I feel confident in these areas, I acknowledge that there's always room for improvement. One area I aim
to enhance is my ability to delegate tasks effectively. While I excel at multitasking, I recognize the importance
of delegating tasks to optimize team efficiency and foster collaboration. Additionally, I'm continuously working
on refining my active listening skills to ensure I fully understand others' perspectives and ideas before
responding. Lastly, I strive to enhance my adaptability in dynamic work environments, embracing change and
learning to thrive in uncertain situations. By focusing on these areas for improvement, I aim to further
strengthen my overall effectiveness and contribution in both professional and personal settings."
