B. Quantifiers and Modifiers: Correct the use of quantifiers and modifiers in the following

3. Mr. Brian bought his wife a house. Also, he bought her a new car. (not only ….but also…)

D. Article Usage: The following sentences contain mistakes in the use of article. Find the
mistake and suggest the correct usage.
1. Let’s go to the campus earlier than usual.
2. The island is a body of land surrounded by water.
3. It’s not surprising for me that my boyfriend always asks about parts of my body. He is biologist!
4. Go north, then about 5 kilometers, turn to west. Coffeeshop is on your left.
5. Make bed before you go to the bed!
6. We don’t go to the campus during the outbreak of a pandemic disease.
7. Put ice-cream in refrigerator if you don’t want to eat now.
8. What musical instrument did Albar play in the concert? Oh he played piano.
