APPLICATION SEEKING GRANT OF ANTICIPATORY BAIL UNDER


SECTION 438 OF THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1973

ON BEHALF OF THE APPLICANT/ACCUSED RAJ SHEKAR VERMA

MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

1. That above mentioned case is registered FIR No. 496/2023 dated


08.06.23 and this Hon’ble Court is having jurisdiction to try and
entertain present case.
2. That the applicant is innocent and he is falsely implicated in the
alleged offence. He is nothing to do with the alleged offence.

3. That taking in to consideration the totality of the circumstances by


no stretch of imagination it can be said that the applicant can be
held guilty of the offence punishable u/s 21 and 29 of NDPS Act.

4. That the applicant/accused is residing at the address mentioned


herein above, along with his family and as such he will not abscond
anywhere if he is granted anticipatory bail.

5. That the applicant/accused undertakes that he shall make himself


available for interrogation by the police officer, in connection with
this offence as and when required.

6. That the applicant/accused has not been named in the present FIR
496/2023 and that he has never been involved in the alleged
offence mentioned in the FIR.

7. That there are no criminal antecedents against the


Applicant/accused.

8. That applicant accused further undertakes to comply any


conditions as imposed by this Hon’ble court.
9. That the applicant accused is having roots in the society and there
is no previous criminal antecedent against the accused.

10. That the applicant accused undertakes to appear on each and every
date of hearing or as and when directed by this Hon’ble Court and
further undertake not to hamper the trial course.

PRAYER:

That the above named accused/applicant may be released on bail in


the event of his arrest on such terms and condition as this Hon’ble
court may deem fit and proper.

And for such other and further relief as the nature and
circumstances of the case may require.
