13 Tips on How to Catch Up sa Bilis ng

Pacing sa Review Center!

DISCLAIMER:

Hindi lahat ng gusto mag board exam ay pare-pareho;

● Yung iba fast-learner
● Yung iba dinadaan sa sipag at tiyaga
● Yung iba may work at may baby pa

Lahat tayo iba-iba.

Pero kung nahuhuli ka sa review:

"13 Tips on How To Catch Up On Your Studies!"

1. The Review Center is not College.

For example:

Integral Calculus
● 1 Semester College (~5 months)
● 1 Session Review Center (~2-3 hrs)

effort to catch up.

Stop blaming yourself in the past.

Focus lang tayo sa ngayon.

2. Identify Your Own pacing

Accept that you have your own pace.

First, know yourself.

Don't rush and know your limits.

oras.

Take breaks and give yourself small rewards for your efforts.

These can help keep you motivated, particularly when you're feeling
stressed.

3. Improve Your Brain & Body

This will be your only vehicle during this review period.

Change oil, premium gas, & maintenance.

Gawin mo din sa katawan mo.

Invest in good food, drink a lot of water, quick exercise, and some
vitamins. (List of budget food and vitamins check our page)

Try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time .

Naghahabol tayo dito, diba?

4. Don’t Stay Up All Night

Kung napag-iiwanan ka na sa review center...

Tingin mo cramming at all-nighter ang sagot?

Wrong. Wala ka na sa college!

While we’re asleep, information is transferred from short to stronger

long-term memory!

Anything you learn during the day will stay in your brain if you get a
good night’s sleep afterwards.

Tulog is the key if you want to maximize the retention ng inaral mo

buong araw.

Also, para di di masayang oras mo pabalik balik sa isang subject.

5. The Catch-Up Plan: Make a List and Prioritize

5.1. Get A Calendar

Buy or print and stick it on your wall.

Create a Blueprint or Roadmap of your whole review period.

Write out your schedule, including important dates & holidays.

5.2. Make a Lists of All Your Subjects

Print a checklist of all subjects covered in your board exam and

stick it on your wall.

Download for free (link at our profile)

5.3. The Priority List

Look at your subject lists.

Engr. Adrian Celso | Board Exam Tips | 7

Which subject needs the most attention?

Place them on a new list of top priorities as a basis of your

catch-up plan.

Once you've completed the list, ask yourself:

"Saan ko pwede isingit itong subject na ito para maaral uli?"

Take control by writing down EVERYTHING.

5.4. The Actual Catch-Up Plan

Using your list of top priorities, break down each major task into
smaller tasks.

Make sure that your plan is possible.

This is a good discipline of prioritizing things, magagamit mo din

itong sa career mo.

5.5 Spread Out & Execute

Set aside time each day to tackle each of your backlog subjects.

Bawas muna ng mindless scrolling and bebe time, for sure

Temporary sacrifice for permanent PRC Licensed Professional.

Naks, manifest. LOL mag-aral ka!

6. Study Strategically

Identify the subjects you are good at and you still need to
practice.

So kahit papaano may idea ka na, right?

Unless, diniskartehan mo lang para makapasa…

Ang masasabi ko lang ay: “YUN LANG!”

Some of our favourite study tools are:

● Writing past board exams.
● Making colorful index cards of formulas
● Create and Capture Technique

7. Use Time Effectively

This is “A Day in My Life” noong nagrereview ako:

● 05:00 - 05:30: Gising, Breakfast, Prepare to Review Class

● 05:30 - 07:00: Byahe (Nap / Flashcards / Pics of Formula Wall)
● 07:00 - 08:00: Extra Time (Problem Solving or Terms)
● 08:00 - 11:30: Actual Review Center Class
● 11:30 - 13:00: Byahe (Nap / Flashcards)
● 13:00 - 14:00: Lunch + Watch ALDUB Nation (2015) + Nap
● 14:00 - 18:00: Deep Study (Rewrite class earlier + Practice)
● 18:00 - 19:00: Dinner
● 19:00 - 21:30: Catch Up Study (Backlogs) then sleep.

Keep going to lectures without thinking of your backlogs.

Focus your attention on what's in front of you.

Use your time wisely.

8. Re-Write Notes

During my review, I listen carefully sa prof then take photos sa

I also write down important notes but not everything on the board.

This enables me to fully absorb and understand the topic.

You will be more familiarized by doing this.

9. Use Holidays

Use these holidays to clear study backlogs.

10. Don't Postpone Current Topics

Kasi pag nag-delay ka, mas mahihirapan ka maghabol.

The backlog can be cleared after the review center class, sa gabi,
or sa holidays.

After mo aralin, re-write, at i-practice ang the topic for the day,
make sure to allot some time to catch up.

A strong commitment and dedication are needed.

You don’t need more time; you need more focus.

11. Get Serious & Do the Actual Work

Do whatever it takes.

Stop blaming yourself or other people.

You will just need:

● Extra Effort
● Less distractions
● More Time Alone

Slowly but surely, you can finish all the subjects gracefully.

If you are a college student reading this, you are lucky.

12. Not working? Try Another Study Method.

We are all built differently.

Certain study methods work for some people but not for you.

Don’t be discouraged, there’s always another way.

Pomodoro Technique, Leitner Technique (a flashcard approach) and

many more!

Remember – you need to conduct your own experiment!

Do as much as you can to discover which ones work for you.

13. Get a Study Group

You're not alone. There are other reviewees in the same situation.

Ask and you shall find the right people who you can share your
journey with.

I know that you are alone in the actual board exam but a little
help during the review might go a long way.
