A strategy is the description of a long-term plan of action used to set and subsequently coordinate actions aimed at achieving a
predetermined goal. Strategy applies to all fields in which a series of separate operations are required to achieve the goal, the choice
of which is not unique and/or the outcome of which is uncertain.
The effectiveness of a strategy is based on the clarity and degree of detail with which the objective is defined.
