Dear Arshdeep,

On behalf of 407 ETR Concession Company Ltd. (407 ETR), I am pleased to offer you part-time employment for the
Customer Service Representative (CSR) position, effective 2023-06-05. In this position you will report to the Team
Manager, Customer Service in the Customer Operations Department.

As a member of the Retail and Wholesale Division of UNIFOR, Local 414 will represent you.

The following will outline some of your employment conditions as per the Collective Agreement covering the period
February 1, 2022, to January 31, 2025. A copy of this agreement will be provided to you.

It is understood that you must be flexible to work hours as outlined in the collective agreement.

HOURLY RATE
Your hourly rate will be based on the wage schedule outlined in the collective agreement. Your starting rate will be
$20.60.

PROBATION
407 ETR employees serve a probationary period of 120 working days, during which time your services with the
Company may be terminated without notice.

UNION DUES
As a member of UNIFOR, Local 414, you must pay a $10.00 initiation fee. This initiation fee will be deducted on your
first pay date. Your monthly dues will be 2 ½ hours of pay monthly based on your individual rate. Your union dues will
be deducted in equal bi-weekly payments.

VACATION
New employees will be entitled to take scheduled vacation based on 0.84 days per month of service in the first year
of service up to a maximum of ten (10) days. For further details, please see Article 26 in your collective agreement.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
You will be entitled to single coverage benefits related to health, dental, and vision care coverage. Details of the
benefits program will be given to you under separate cover and will commence three months from your start date.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OFFER
This employment offer is conditional upon successful credit, criminal, employment, and reference checks in
accordance with the 407 ETR and 407 East Policies. The background check process will begin following the
acceptance of this offer and authorization has been provided.

Note: Screening may be conducted every 5 years for applicable positions.

USE OF THE 407 ETR and PAYMENT OF YOUR 407 ETR ACCOUNT
As an employee of the 407 ETR, you are entitled to enroll in the Toll-Free Travel Program. However, if you choose not
to enroll for any reason, the Company expects and trusts you will keep your personal account in good standing at all
times.

Should your account fall into arrears (defined, in accordance with our collections policy, as a failure to make a
payment on your account for a period exceeding 90 days) your account will be forwarded to the Company’s Human
Resources Department. The matter will be discussed with you and you will be asked at that time to authorize to the
Company to set-off against your wages any payments required to eliminate your outstanding account balance and
further charges incurred as a result of your continued use of the 407 ETR. Failure to cooperate with the Company
regarding collection of your account may constitute cause for termination of your employment without notice.

TERMINATION
The company may terminate your employment at any time with or without cause in accordance with the Ontario
Employment Standards Act and/or collective agreement.

POLICY AGREEMENT
As a condition of employment, you will be required to sign various agreements/policies including but not limited to
Confidentiality, Inventions Undertaking, IT, Harassment and Security.

Should you find the terms of this offer acceptable, we invite you to sign and return a copy of this letter indicating your
acceptance of these employment conditions together with the enclosed forms duly completed.
