Photo, Award story and video footage consent form
This form records your consent for any photos, video footage, audio recordings (digital assets) and data capture
relating to you (or the child/dependent that you are legally responsible for if this form has been completed on behalf
of someone under 18) to be used by The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation (‘the Foundation’),
any of its National Award Operators and/or organisational partners (‘the International Award Association’). We
gather content like this to help promote the Award and demonstrate the benefits it brings for young people and
their wider communities. This form explains what we may do with these digital assets and how long we will keep
them on file.

How will it be kept?
I understand the digital assets will be kept on a secure database in line with the Foundation’s Data Protection Policy.
How long will it be kept?
It will be kept for 10 years from the date of consent. For full information as to how we deal with personal

Who can use it?
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award operates worldwide through our trusted network and partners. Our
National Award Operators and or organisational partners may use these assets for Award promotion within the
International Award Association.
How do I remove my consent?
I understand that I can withdraw consent at any time, object to use of my personal information being used for
marketing, or discuss any concerns about how the digital assets are being used by emailing
[email protected].
These will be removed upon request, however, I understand it won’t be possible to remove photos which have
already been published, for example, in printed publications. I know I won’t be paid for allowing the digital assets to
be taken or used. I’m giving permission freely and have no interest in the copyright of the assets.
