COUNSELLING SCHEDULE
Master Degree / PG Diploma Programmes (JUET-2022)
Counselling Schedule for admission to the various Master Degree/ PG Diploma Programmes (falling
under the ambit of JUET) offered by the University of Jammu (UoJ), Jammu, its Offsite Campuses and
Affiliated Colleges for the Academic Session 2022-23, is hereby notified for the information of all
concerned.
Further, admission to the M.Lib.I.Sc Programme, for the Academic Session 2022-23 shall not be
held for the time being. The Schedule for the same shall be notified separately.

COUNSELLING SCHEDULE
REPORTING TIME: 10:00 am to 01:00 PM ADMISSIONS: 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
1. 1st Round of Counselling (Open Merit Seats) 05/12/2022
2nd Round of Counselling (Open Merit Seats), if required 06/12/2022
1st Round of Counselling for all Reserved Categories (Except Achievement) 08/12/2022
2nd Round of Counselling for Reserved Categories (Except Achievement), if required 09/12/2022
1st Round of Counselling for Achievement Categories and 3rd Round of Counselling for 13/12/2022
vacant Open Merit Seats, if required.
2nd Round of Counselling for Achievement Categories, if required 14/12/2022
Counselling for Self-Finance Seats 16/12/2022
2. Last date of completion of Admissions by the Departments/ Nodal Departments for Open
19/12/2022
Merit and all other Categories including transfer cases.

NOTE: Class work of 1 Semester shall commence as and when 70% admissions are made.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS/INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES:
1. All the applicants desirous for admission are advised to report at the concerned Department / Nodal
Department from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm on the day of Counselling for admission along-with original
as well as photocopies of all the relevant documents as mentioned below:
JUET-2022 Score Card, Online Admission Form, Domicile Certificate (if applicable), Affidavit (e-stamp)
and all relevant/requisite Academic/ Category Certificate/s. No “UNDER PROCESS CERTIFICATE” will
be entertained for Admission
2. Admissions shall be made purely on the basis of the Composite Merit comprising 75% weightage for
the Academic Score of the qualifying examination and 25% weightage for the score of the JUET-
2022.
3. Only those applicants will be considered for admission, who present themselves on the day of the
counselling and deposit the requisite admission fee (As notified by the concerned Department/Nodal
Department)
4. The University will not be responsible for any mistake/ lapse, on the part of the Candidate, while
filling up of the Online Admission Form.
