Bob Sadino Born in Lampung, March 9, 1939, the late entrepreneur, whose full name

experienced ups and downs before finally making a great success. After about nine
years as an employee, Bob decided to quit and turn the wheel to become an
entrepreneur. The first business he pioneered was the car rental business, with
only one Mercedes and he drove himself. But because of the accident that
happened when driving the rented car, the business stopped in the middle of the
road. Not discouraged, he then switched professions as construction workers who
were paid a daily wage. When he was a coolie, he saw another business opportunity,
the business of domestic chicken and chicken eggs. With his neighbor's loan capital,
Bob finally started the business. Initially, Bob offered his merchandise from house
to house in the area around his residence, especially to the expatriates, in Kemang,
South Jakarta. The egg business was eventually sweet and he developed wings by
selling meat and vegetable hydoponics. Thanks to its tenacity, the business was
successful and he founded Kem-Chicks, a well-known supermarket that sells a
variety of livestock and agricultural products. Despite his success, he continues to
appear simple and often serves his customers like his own family.

MOVIE REVIEW

Day 19

Lesson starter : ask the students’ about the movie that they have watched

LANGUAGE CENTRE : Giving the synopsis_ 13.A

Rudy Habibie is an aircraft genius who has big dreams: to serve the Indonesian nation by
making airplanes to unite Indonesia. Ainun, meanwhile, is a smart young doctor with a
wide-open career path for him.

In 1962, two junior high school friends met again in Bandung. Habibie falls in love
instantly with Ainun who is as sweet as sugar. But Ainun, he not only fell in love, he had
faith in Habibie's vision and dreams. They got married and flew to Germany.

Having a dream will never be easy. Habibie and Ainun know that. Their love awakens on
the way to realizing a dream. The cold German snow, sacrifice, pain, solitude and
temptation of wealth and power as they returned to Indonesia accompanied the
journey of two lives into one.

For Habibie, Ainun is everything. Ainun was the eye to see his life. For Ainun, Habibie
was everything, the filler of love in his life. But every story has an end, every dream has
its limits.

President Donald Trump will bring the “full force” of the U.S. government to
combat human trafficking.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The president is meeting with senior advisers and

representatives of organizations that deal with trafficking at the White House. His
daughter is among those in attendance.

Trump calls “human trafficking” a problem that is “not talked about enough.” He said that
he would order the departments of Justice and Homeland Security to take a hard look at
the resources they were devoting to addressing the issue.

Human trafficking tends to occur around international travel-hubs with large immigrant
populations such as California and Texas. The U.S. Justice Department estimates that
14,500–17,500 people, including young children and teenagers, are trafficked into the
country every year. They can be domestic citizens or foreign nationals. According to the
General English
Department of State’s statistics from 2000, there are approximately 244,000 American
children and youth that are at risk for sex trafficking each year.
