WC-2 Closed Drain Pump 12-P-6411 C 12-PM-6411 C 1 GFDP-204-52-PRS-DW-16-01-017 (Sht 2 of 2) Note-4
4. In Wellpad D & E location, pumps P-6411 A /B /C shall be installed in Vessels V-6411 A /B /C respectively and in Wellcluster -1 & 2 location, pump
P-6411 C shall be installed in Vessel V-6411 C. Hence total installed pumps shall be 8. One common ware house pump with motor
will be provided for the above pumps for Phase-1.
5. The pump shall be suitable to handle dirty services.
6. The indicated discharge pressure is at the delivery flange. Pump VENDOR shall take into considerations pump shaft length, line losses to arrive at the
rated pump discharge conditions.
7. NPSHA shall exceed the NPSH3 by at least 1 m (3 ft) throughout the range from minimum continuous stable flow up to and including the rated capacity,
and by 0.3 m (1 ft) at the lessor of, 120 % of best efficiency flow and maximum system capacity.
8. Pump VENDOR to furnish pump performance curve(s) along with the bid duty point duly marked, showing H, Q, NPSHR, BKW / Efficiency.
9. The corrosion allowance for Pump Casing shall be 3 mm.
10. Pump VENDOR shall provide Vertical centrifugal submerged pump for the furnished duty.(VS1 Design estimated, Pump VENDOR to confirm)
11. Pump VENDOR to decide the pump length based on Closed drain drum dimensions and also select minimum submergence above the vessel
bottom required for pump operation. Pump shaft length shall be selected to ensure evacuation of the vessel upto low low liquid level.
12. Downstream design pressure is 35 barg and design temperature is 83 oC. Shut-off pressure including pump maximum suction pressure and including all tolerances
shall not exceed this value of downstream design pressure.
Maximum allowable working pressure of the pump to be indicated by Pump VENDOR.As a minimum, same shall be in excess of above downstream pressure.
13. Pump is in sour service, hence all parts in contact with the pumped fluid shall be as per NACE STD MR-0175/ISO 15156.
Maximum H2S content of 100 ppm(w) shall be considered for design purpose.
14. Make of the motor shall be as per COMPANY approved VENDOR list.
15. Motor kW rating shall be selected for end of curve operation of pump and as per Clause 4.5 of Specification for Vertical Centrifugal Pump-Process service.
16. The electric motor shall be designed in accordance with the Specification for Induction Motor (Doc no GFDP-COM-52-ELE-SP-GE-006).
17. Line shaft intermediate bearing shall be lubricated using pumped liquid.
18. Pump VENDOR to provide non-sparking guard.Coupling shall be sourced from the COMPANY approved Coupling VENDOR list.
19. Pumps to be auto start on high level. Pump VENDOR to consider open discharge start-up of the pump.
20. Pump VENDOR to design and furnish critical loads for all load cases for support pedestal design.
21. Single mechanical seal shall be provided for each pump. Same shall be as API 682 latest edition. Seal plan shall be Plan 13,61.
22. Gasket material shall be Spiral Wound, Graphite filled, SS316 Winding, SS 316 Inner Ring / CS Centering Ring, ASME B16.20.
23. Pumping liquid contains sludge with sand particles size of 100 microns. Pump VENDOR shall consider this requirement during design of impeller
& suction strainer ( to be included in Pump VENDOR scope).
24. Mounting plate with associated gasket and bolting shall be provided by Pump VENDOR.
25 All auxiliaries and accessories shall be sourced from approved VENDOR with prior approval from COMPANY in writing.
26. Pump mounting nozzle projection from Vessel centerline shall be confirmed by EPC CONTRACTOR during detail engineering. Pump shaft length
from suction flange to discharge flange shall be identical for wellpad and wellcluster - 1 & 2.
27 VENDOR to consider the corrosive components properties CO2 = 0.3 %, H2S=100 ppm and Chloride =103.7 gm/lts.
28 Density and Viscosity figures specified on page 3 are that corresponds to respective temperature.
29 The Closed drain drum / pump parameters specified on page 6 are preliminary and to be verified and confirmed by EPC Contractor during detail engineering.
