IV. IMPACT OF THE PROJECT

Implementation of Deped Order No. 5 s. 2013 which is the Policy Guidelines
on the Implementation of the School Readiness Year-End Assessment (SreYA) is
very effective in evaluating the reading performance of pupils. In line with this,
reading programs were designed to provide intervention, remediation and
enrichment reading activities.
This Project HEAR aims to utilize the result as basis for providing
appropriate interventions to address specific needs of the children and share the
result to parents of their child’s assessment as basis for helping them come up with
home-based activities for their supplemental learning.
This will also be beneficial to:
Parents- This program strengthens the bonding of parent and child. This will also let
them help their child’s developmental domains while they are at home.
Teachers- This will help teachers monitor the reading performance of the pupils and
to be able to make such remediation and intervention to address their reading
readiness and beneficial to Grade II teacher because they will be provided with
children’s readiness profile.
Administrators-This will help in strengthening instructional support, mentoring/staff
development, budget allocation and networking for the effective management of
Kindergarten program.
SDO personnel (SGOD and CID)-the result will help them formulate how and what
assistance to be given to the school.
