SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN COUNCIL OF BARANGAY CABANGAHAN, PANITAN, CAPIZ
HELD AT BARANGAY HALL ON DECEMBER 7, 2024.

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF Mr. REX MAR B. GREGORIO AS
SK TREASURER OF BARANGAY CABANGAHAN, PANITAN, CAPIZ.
WHEREAS, the State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and thus promotes and
protects their physical, moral intellectual and social well-being, inculcates in them the patriotism,
nationalism and other desirable values, and encourages their involvement in public and civil affairs;
WHEREAS, Section 7 of the Rules and Regulation Implementing Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise
known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015” provides that the Acting Sk chairperson shall,
with the concurrence of the majority of all the SK member, appoint from among the member of the
Katipunan ng Kabataan (kk) a Treasurer;
WHEREAS, said treasurer must possess all qualification provided for by Section 10 of said
Implementing Rules and Regulation and must not possess any disqualification provided thereto;
WHEREAS, REX MAR B. GREGORIO, is a member of the Katipunan ng Kabataan appointed by
Acting SK Chairperson who possess all qualification to be a Treasurer.
NOW THEREFORE, on the motion of SK Member HON. JOHN MARK RUFO, and duly seconded by
the majority of SK Council, be it resolve and it is hereby approved and concurred the appointment of
REX MAR B. GREGORIO to be the Treasurer of the Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay Cabangahan
and allow the same together with HON. JOHN MARK DAP-OG, SK Chairperson to perform all and
necessary act in any Government Owned Bank for proper custody, transaction and Withdrawal of SK
Funds;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the Barangay Council,
Sangguniang Kabataan Pederasyon ng Panitan Capiz, and other interested Government Agencies and
Instrumentalities for their information and guidance.
Approved this 7th day of December, 2023 at the Brgy. Hall of Cabangahan, Panitan, Capiz.
