Follow along and we’ll learn to make organic sunscreen, organic
deodorant, and organic remineralizing toothpaste. Let’s jump in!
Organic Sunscreen
Ingredients:
• 1 oz. organic virgin coconut oil
• 1 oz. organic cocoa butter
• 1 oz. organic extra virgin olive oil
• 1 oz. organic beeswax
• 1 oz. non-nano zinc
Directions:
Weigh ingredients and put them into the top of a double
boiler.
Heat water in bottom of double boiler until it comes to a low
boil or simmer.
Allow all ingredients to melt; stir to combine well.
Use a whisk or immersion blender to throughly mix
ingredients.
Immediately pour into glass container or silicone tube.
Allow sunscreen to harden in refrigerator.
After an hour or two, take it out of refrigerator and allow to
come to room temperature.
Enjoy!
Organic Deodorant
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp candelilla wax
1 tbsp cocoa butter
1/2 cup virgin coconut oil
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 cup arrowroot powder
2 tbsp baking soda
60 drops essential oils of choice
6 drops tea tree essential oil
Directions:
Measure candelilla wax, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and olive oil, and
put them into the top of a double boiler.
Heat water in bottom of double boiler until it comes to a low
boil or simmer.
Allow all ingredients to melt; stir to combine well.
Add arrowroot powder and baking soda; mix well
Remove from heat; add essential oils and mix well again.
Pour into empty deodorant containers.
Allow deodorant to harden in refrigerator.
After an hour or two, take it out of refrigerator and allow to
come to room temperature.
Enjoy!
Organic Remineralizing Toothpaste
Ingredients:
6 TBSP organic virgin coconut oil
6 TBSP food grade calcium powder
3 TBSP non-corn xylitol
1 tsp baking soda
24 drops essential oil of choice (peppermint, wintergreen
or
lemon are nice choices)
Directions:
Melt coconut oil.
Add calcium, xylitol, baking soda, and essential oils.
Mix well.
Pour into glass container.
Allow toothpaste to harden in refrigerator.
After an hour or two, take it out of refrigerator and allow to
come to room temperature.
