relax. Houses often offer more privacy than flats, and you can usually make more noise
without worrying about neighbors. However, houses can be more expensive to maintain
and might not be as close to city centers as flats. Flats can be more convenient, often with
less to clean and the possibility of a great view, but they can also feel cramped and lack
outdoor space. My dream house is a cozy cottage in the countryside with a big kitchen for
cooking and a beautiful garden with lots of flowers and a small pond.

In my opinion, animals that are wild or endangered, like tigers, would be the worst as

goldfish; I got it when I was seven years old. I think people should start having pets when
they are responsible enough to take care of them, which could be around the age of
thirteen or older. That way, they can learn about responsibility and caring for others. Pets
need attention, love, and proper care to thrive.

many people like to look at what others are wearing, maybe in magazines, online, or even just
people they see around. When it comes to buying clothes, comfort is usually a big deal; if it
doesn't feel good, you probably won't wear it much. Price is another thing a lot of people think

overseas can be exciting because you get to experience different cultures, foods, and landscapes,
but it can also be more expensive and requires more planning, like passports and visas. On the

stressful in terms of travel logistics, but you might miss out on the broadening experiences that
international travel offers.
Situation 8
My friends are going to travel to Vietnam and they want me to recommend a place to
visit. There are some suggested destinations: Sapa, Hanoi and Da Nang. As for me, Da
Nang will come first to my mind as the best choice. First Da Nang is a beautiful beach
city. When my friends visit Da Nang they can enjoy breathtaking view of the beaches and
take part in many interesting outdooor activities at the beach such as windsurfing,
sunbathing, parasailing and swimming. They definitely have unforgettable memeries here.
Ha Noi is also a good choice, however, in Ha Noi, my friends can just go sightseeing and
shopping. There aren’t many activities here for them. I don’t choose Sapa since my
friends are from Europe. They are quite familiar with cold weather and the reason why
they go to Vietnam is that they want to enjoy the sunny climate of a tropical country. In
conclusion, Da Nang is the ideal choice in this situation.
Situation 10:
My friend is going to study abroad and I want to buy her a present. There are some
suggested options: a backpack, a book or a beauty product. As for me, a backpack is the
most suitable present. First, a backpack can be a practical and useful gift for someone
who is going to study abroad. It can be used to carry texbooks, a laptop and othter
essentials, making it a convenient and functional gift. Second, it can be easy for you to
find a beautifully designed backpack with high quality for your friend. A book can also
be a thoughtful and meaningful gift but your friend may have her own interests and
concerns. As a result, she may find the content in the book uninteresting and unnecessary.
A beauty product is not the most practical or suitable gift in this case since she may
already have her preferred beauty products or she can buy them locally to match the local
climate or skin type. In short, a backpack is the most appropriate present for my friend.
Situation 11
I’m going to have an. English examination in the next five months and I want to improve
my English. There are some suggested ways: registering for an online course, attending a
class at an English center and hiring a tutor. Among these three options, I would like to
choose option 3: hiring a tutor because of the following reasons. First, when I have a
private tutor, I will receive the kind of personalized attention that a tutor can offer which
means my tutor will answer all of my questions, understand my problems and suggest
solutions to these problems. Second, the tutor can help me prepare for the upcoming
test..Registering for an online course is also a good idea, however, this kind of learning
does not allow me to have a one-to-one attention. I don’t choose “attending a class at an
English center” because there are many students in one class and the teacher cannot focus
on each student. As a result, he cannot fully understand the students’ problems and
weaknesses in learning English. All in all, I think option 3 is the best choice.
Situation 13
A cafeteria is opening a new store and they want to advertise their new place. There are
some suggested ways: Internet, television and brochure. As for me, Internet will be the
best choice in this situation. First, Internet advertisement is cost-efficient. Comparing
with off-line advertising, the fee for online advertising is significantlly lower. Second the
target customer of a coffee shop is the young generation. As you know, the youngsters
nowadays spend a lot of time browsing social networks like facebook, instagram and
tiktok and the advertisement can easily reach its potential customers if it appears on these
digital platforms. Using brochure is also a good idea, however, brochures are not
regarded an environment-friendly method for advertising and promotion. I don’t choose
advertising on television since it’s costly and, nowadays, only the elderly maintain the
habit of watching TV. In conclusion, Internet advertisement is the most suitable choice
Situation 15
My sister wants to lose weight and she asks for my advice. There are some suggested
options: going to the fitness center, going on a diet and taking weight loss pills. Among
these three options, I will definitely choose the first option as the best choice. First, it
goes without saying that exercising is the best way to control your weight. When you
engage in physical activity, you will burn calories and your muscles will be stronger.
Another reason is that, at the fitness center, there are a lot of professinal personal trainers
who can give you advice on how to exercise and eat properly. Going on a diet is also a
good choice but it takes a lot of time and effort. For instance, shopping for good products
is hard to order and cooking this kind of food is time-consuming. I don’t choose the last
option because according to several research, some ingredients in weight loss products
can have harmful side effects such as increased heart rate or high blood pressure. In a
nutshell, going to the fitness center is my best choice.
Situation 16:
I am studying economics and I want to keep myself updated on economic news. There
are three suggested options: Internet, television or newspaper. I definitely choose the
Internet as my best choice. First, the Internet can be an excellent source of up-to-date
economic news since many websites and social platforms provide real-time updates on
economic events and trends. In addition, the Internet is accessible and convenient,
allowing users to access news from anywhere and at any time. Television economic news
programs can also be a good way to stay updated on economics, however, these programs
are only aired at fixed time slots so you may find it hard to watch the news if you have a
hectic working schedule. Reading newspaper is not chosen since in the period of web and
news channels, paper appears to offer flat and lifeless news. All in all, the Internet is my
first choice in this situation.

improve their immune system. In short, I believe that there are many causes for
overpopulation and these causes are mentioned in my talk.

academic outcomes. When students are focused, teachers can teach more effectively, and

In my opinion, working from home can be beneficial in many ways. First, it often leads
to increased productivity. Without the distractions of a traditional office setting,
employees can focus better on their tasks and accomplish them more efficiently.
Additionally, remote work saves valuable time from commuting to and from the office.
This time can be used for other activities such as play sports or spending time with
family. Finally, working from home can reduce stress levels. Working in a comfortable
setting at home can contribute to a healthier work-life balance. All in all, I agree that
working from home can have many benefits.
Topic 15
In my opinion, online learning is beneficial to students because of the following reasons.
First, it is highly convenient because students can access course materials from anywhere
with an internet connection. This convenience is particularly beneficial for those who live
far from school. Additionally, online learning is flexible, allowing students to study at
their own pace and on their own schedule. This flexibility is ideal for students who need
to balance their studies with other responsibilities like work or family care. Lastly, online
learning is often more affordable than traditional classroom education. Costs can be
lower because there are no commuting expenses and course materials such as textbooks
are available online for free. In conclusion, I agree that online learning is beneficial to
students because of three reasons that are mentioned in my talk.
