TENTACLES
Bottom tentacles:
Bottom tentacles are made using the puff stitch. For instructions, see the photo tutorial below
the pattern.
There are two options of tentacle color.
8 9
- The first way: all tentacles are the one color (fig 8).
- The second way: each pair (2 tentacles) is made with different color (fig 9).
If you would like to make all tentacles one color, follow the pattern below and don’t change the
yarn.

Insert your hook in last front loop of round 3 from outside to inside. Pick up the blue yarn.
Crochet 35 chs. In second chain from the hook: make a puff stitch and a sl st in next stitch.
Repeat it 17 times. Follow the pattern below.
• Note: make a slip stitch more freely.
• Note: take out the starting tail of yarn on back side (fig 12).
How to make a puff stitch:
- Yarn over and insert your hook it into the stitch (pull loop up to height of dc stitch). Yarn
over and pull up a loop.
- Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch. Repeat these steps twice.
- You will now have 7 loops on your hook (fig 13).
- Pull through all loops on hook (fig 14).
