DEPOSIT & PAYMENT:
y A minimum of 120 guests is required to book the Outdoor Pavilion on a
Saturday or Long Weekend and a minimum of 100 guests is required for
a Friday or Sunday booking. If your guest count is shy of the minimum,
please speak with the Wedding Coordinator for additional details.
y Chilliwack Golf Club will require an advance deposit of $2,500.00,
along with a signed contract, to secure your booking. All deposits
are non‑refundable. In the event of a cancellation, the $2500 is
non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. $1500 will be regarded as a
down payment toward the total cost of your event and $1000 will be held
as a damage deposit and returned to you after your event, pending no
damages or outstanding balance owing.
y Should C.G.C. not be in receipt of all scheduled deposits 14 days prior
to the event, we reserve the right to cancel the function without
reimbursement of existing deposits.
LIABILITY:
y C.G.C. reserves the right to inspect and monitor your event and
discontinue services to all guests, vendors and suppliers in the case of
any violations of Club policy or Provincial law.
y Should C.G.C. discontinue service to any or all of your guests, vendors
and suppliers, you shall remain liable for all amounts owed to the Club.
y C.G.C. assumes no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to goods,
property and/or equipment brought into the facility by the organizer and
guests, vendors and suppliers.
y C.G.C. and its staff will not be held liable for damages or expenses in
connection with personal injury, illness or accident resulting from the
guests, vendors or suppliers’ use of the venue.
y C.G.C. assumes no responsibility for any allergic reactions caused by
supplied food.
y You are responsible to ensure that all guests, vendors and suppliers:
→ Act responsibly and do not drive a motorized vehicle if his
or her ability is impaired by the consumption of alcohol or
drugs.
→ Do not consume alcohol in the parking lot or any other
unlicensed area on the C.G.C. property.
→ Do not use illegal substances on any C.G.C. property.
→ Do not provide alcoholic beverages to a person under the
age of 19.
