Idk what people are talking about it doesn't

smell like oranges lol it opens with tobacco
and clove with vanilla which stays like that for
awhile then becomes a super sweet nice
tobacco vanilla and even deeper is just a nice
vanilla I hate tobacco notes but this is done
amazingly

According to the hype behind Tom Ford on

this website and the number of reviews and
rating, I was a bit disappointed.
I think I had too high expectations...
Huge dose of spices and honey. This reminds
me of a warm spicy Christmas candle I had
few years ago. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's a really strong scent, even for people
used to them. It will probably overwhelms
and annoys some people.
Feels like entering a small Christmas shop
which sells warm scented candles,
potpourris, spicy soaps etc...
It's not bad, and actually pleasant in the dry-
down with the vanilla, but I don't want to
smell like a Christmas potpourri.

Smells like honey to me, with some lemon or

orange (probably the dried fruit I’m smelling)

Not my cup of tea, too peppery at first whiff

and the dry down is honestly nothing special.
I had high expectations for this one for a long
time. Bitter Peach is my go to for this brand.

I just smelled this for the first time today and I

had to purchase it. Me personally I buy
designer fragrances but this is my first niche
and I couldnt be any happier. It smells so
good and last real long. Its pricey but WOW
does it smell good.

I realized something today. I have been

judging every tobacco fragrance against this
masterpiece, and that isn't fair. But it does
tell you where it sits with me. Top shelf, with

Tobacco Vanille - my skin did you an

injustice! All I get from this TV is straight up
loose/pipe tobacco with a big hit of spices
that makes it smell musty to me. The vanilla
barely makes an appearance on my skin. And
that's all folks! I am baffled by others who get
all the yummy notes in it and a little jealous. It
reminds me of the unlit beedis my
grandfather used to smoke. This is a no go
for me.

I got a sample of this recently, and it mostly

smells like a cigar + vanilla. You also get this
spicy / cinnamon like smell that comes
wafting every now and then. I think I really
like this, very smooth and well blended!

Nauseatingly syrupy sweet honey and pure

vanilla extract is all I get. No tobacco.
Gourmand to the max, like baked goods on
Christmas. It’s a pass for me…

Honey drenched Christmas

potpourri....Smells like the bags of pinecone
potpourri sold in stores in the holiday season
with a bottle of honey poured over it and then
warmed up. Leans very masculine. Not a fan.
Tried to give it to my boyfriend but he didn't
like it either...

Pungent and quite synthetic, you have to wait

half an hour to feel its depth, at the end
spices prevail, especially cinnamon.

great choice. It's stunning, opulent,
seductive, loud. Everything I want my
perfume to be. If you're looking for boozy,
tobacco, vanilla, spicy, fruity scent with a lot
of character - look no more.

Tobacco Vanille is a masterpiece. You ought

to feel the DNA of TF fragrances in this one:
rich, classy & sophisticated. It's so damn
good, you can tell people "I'm wearing a Tom
Ford perfume" without saying anything.

The tobacco-chocolate combo brings about

a sturdy & powerful impression of a man with
exquisite taste. Not too pointy or bold like in
Oud Wood, nevertheless, its longevity
deserves praise, which gets better with body
heat & sweat. Testosterone galore (imagine
Mr Tom Ford himself in a dark brown suede
suit, stone washed jeans and unbuttoned
white linen shirt).

The after effect following the prologue is a

decadent sensation of creamy vanilla, with a
soft woody layering, plus a tincture of sweet-
sour prune or raisins. Couldn't capture the
spiciness though. Just a beautiful
aphrodisiac.

But again, I would appreciate this scent more

on men (not boys) than on women. Quite
crass for a unisex perfume I may say.

Imagine if wet cherry tobacco was mixed

with honey and then shoved up your nostrils.
That's Tobacco Vanille. It's a sticky, sweet,
synthetic concoction that overpowers you
and everyone around you. When someone
has it on, I can't run away fast enough. Now
don't get me wrong, I basically won't buy a
fragrance unless tobacco is listed in the
notes. This family of scents is right up my
alley, but the sweet synthetic notes make it
unwearable for me. If this overwhelms you,
then try Sonoma Scent Studio's Tabac Aurea.
Trust me, you'll thank me later.

A great example of why you should test on

your own skin.. on paper this was the most
delicious warm, spicy vanilla, but on my dry
skin it smelt like bong water.

The first time I received my bottle of this, I

sprayed two solid sprays on the back of my
hand and put my nose to it, followed by a
quick pull away and a thought that I'd made
a terrible mistake. The scent was
overwhelming, way too strong and
overpowering. For the remainder of that night
I kept smelling my hand, berating myself for
blind buying such an expensive bottle (FYI,
I'm a serial blind buyer).

The next day, after a shower I decided to try

it again. This time I used one spray on my
hand and stuck my nose in. It was as if I had
smelt something completely different the
night prior. The warmest, sweetest and
richest vanilla note I had ever smelt hit me,
followed by a warm, cozy tobacco note. I
instantly fell in love with the scent and
praised myself immensely for being so smart
to blind buy a bottle of such quality!

To make matters even better, my wife smelt it

and fell in love with it (my wife enjoying a
fragrance automatically gives it a positive in
my books. Her compliments are the only
ones that truly matter at the end of the day).
She said I smelt like a Caribbean breakfast
called cornmeal porridge, which she adores,
and I get the comparison, especially because
we flavour our porridge with a lot of vanilla,
cinnamon and condensed milk, so all the
same facets were there.

Every time I've worn this scent since then has

made me fall deeper and deeper in love with
it. I love the warmth it brings and the
stickiness in the air. I don't think I've ever
enjoyed wearing a scent as much as I have
enjoyed wearing TV. It's a masterpiece of
perfumery. I just wish I lived somewhere
where it's colder for longer so I could wear
this more often. I may just start doing one
spray in the summer so I can experience it
more frequently.

Oooolala.
Got myself a 10 ml decant, and it's fair to say
that I've been blown away. Wow.
That tobacco note is followed by
that sweet vanilla/cacao/Tonka?
Errrr mrrrrr gerd.
I sprayed it yesterday on my vest and it's
going strong today.
Do I need to say more?
Expensive tho. Have to put out the p's
It's value for money if you're into buying
decants.

Wow, this is stunning!

I was hesitant about a tobacco unisex leaning

blind buy but I am soooo glad I went for it.

There’s something super familiar about this to

my nose, it’s instantly comforting and
soothing. I remember hearing and reading
reviews about this being some people’s “bad
b!$@&” scent but this just feels like home to
me.

Distinctly getting a chai tea vibe — clove for

sure and an array of autumnal spices. Then
honey! No notes of clove or honey listed but I
swear it’s like I’ve coated myself in warm
honey and chai spice. The vanilla feels more
like an extract, linear and almost transparent.
Still a very rich and warm scent, the
sweetness is definitely present but doesn’t hit
you over the head.

I used to make chai from scratch by blending

and steeping spices with roasted black tea
leaves, so this hits home. Super wearable
and I’m not getting any harsh or “scary”
tobacco notes.

I’m sort of getting this fluffy buzzing vibe that

Noir Pour Femme gives me, ultra luxe version
of the soft spicy accord! Definitely sexy and
signature worthy in my opinion.

More leather smell to me than tobacco, the

tobacco is there but at the back, it is a
classic fragrance in its genre, I so much
wanted to like it, was trying to get a sample
for a long, long time as I am on a mission to
find my perfect oriental cigarillos fragrance.
The mission seems impossible for now. Still,
do have some hopes, maybe one day I will
find it.

This is strong. As much as i like vanilla and

spices, this is very strong even for my nose
that loves bold perfumes.
And it leans super masculine in my opinion.
It starts creamy and spicy: cinnamon, cloves,
nutmeg, pepper, with a sweet and sour dried
fruit that melts with vanilla.
Then enters the tobacco: the note is very
prominent, cold and dry, and creates a huge
contrast with the creaminess of vanilla.
The frag is very long-lasting: during the day i
get wafts of vanilla and tobacco alternatively.
I like it and i wear it but i don't agree with its
huge renowned status, to me it just doesn't
get to the podium.
I could easily live without Tobacco Vanille.

Well, a little bit of strong spice in the opening

and the dry down was a bit vanilla mix with
spicy. Well to me this fragrance was
indifferent.
