necessary requirements for Psych 197A Practicum 1 in 4th year First semester which includes
finishing the Psych 114 Introduction to Clinical Psychology prescribed in the prospectus of
Bachelor of Science in Psychology Program.

Dear Sir Fernando T. Herrera,
I am writing to request the opportunity to develop and teach a new summer course on Psych
114 Clinical Psychology this upcoming summer session, this subject is required to accomplish
all the necessary requirements for Psych 197A Practicum 1 in 4th year First semester.
The proposed course would provide students with 3 units. Given my expertise in relevant
background/experience, I am well-positioned to design and deliver an engaging and
informative curriculum on this topic. Offering this new summer course would align with the
department’s goal of relevant strategic priority that expands course options, providing more
experiential learning opportunities. I believe it would be a valuable addition to our summer
course offerings and meet an unmet student need.
