It is our great pleasure to announce the upcoming event of International Walisongo Science
Competition (IWSC) 2024. On behalf of the IWSC Committee, we would like to invite you
and your students as well as your university to participate in this exciting and prestigious
international competition. IWSC is an international science Olympiad and scientific papers
created by the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo
Semarang, Indonesia to accommodate students' creativity to channel valuable ideas in Science
and Technology for a more advanced Indonesia. The theme is "The Synergy of Minds:
Integrating Mathematics, Science, IT, and Environmental Engineering for a Sustainable
Future", with the following competitions: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics
Olympiad, and scientific papers: start-up innovation and innovation in environmental
engineering.
The IWSC registration period had opened from 3 June – 3 July 2024. Each University is given
the opportunity to delegate a maximum of 10 students for each branch of the competition and
they get a letter of recommendation from the home campus at least at the study program
level. Registration is free. More information regarding contest registration, contest rules,

We look forward to seeing great results from all the participants. Due to the high expected
participation rate, teams are encouraged to register earlier for the competition. If you have any
