Claim for Rs.50,10,436/- and requested for arranging payment of Special
Hire Charges by the Regional Manager, West Godavari District Region,
APSRTC – Requested for according sanction – Reg.

I herewith submit that the concreting works of Spillway were commenced on
30.12.2016. The concreting works has been inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of
Andhra Pradesh. In this connection, APSRTC buses has been requisitioned by the
concerned RDO’s of Revenue Department. Upon request, the Regional Manager, West
Godavari Region, APSRTC, Eluru was requested to spare 450 to 500 No’s of APSRTC
Buses for transporting/ mobilising the public, volunteers etc., and also informed that
necessary hire charges will be paid by us accordingly.
The Regional Manager, West Godavari Region, APSRTC, Eluru in the reference 2 nd cited,
has submitted that, 300 buses have been supplied from the Depots of West Godavari on
30.12.2016 for transporting/ mobilising the public, volunteers etc., on the above said
occasion and the special hire charges were calculated for Rs.50,10,436/- and requested
to arrange the payment of Rs.50,10,436/- through D.D or Cheque in favour of
Accounts Officer, APSRTC, West Godavari Region, Eluru at the earliest.

In view of the above, it is requested to kindly accord sanction for an amount of
Rs.50,10,436/- under relavant Head of Account towards special hire charges for
supplying 300 No’s of APSRTC Buses for transportation of participants on the occasion of
commencement of concrete works of Spillway of Polavaram Irrigation Project by Hon’ble
Chief Minister on 30.12.2016 as raised by the APSRTC.
