Guidelines for preparation of manuscripts for submission to the WUKARI CHEMTRENDS
CONFERENCE BOOK OF PROCEEDINGS
1. Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft word, typewritten in English language, using Normal
Times New Roman font, 12-point font size, 1.5-line spacing in single column, should not exceed 15
pages. The pages should be automatically numbered at the bottom.
2. The manuscripts should be arranged in the following order: (1)Title (2)Abstract (3)Keywords
(4)Introduction (5). Materials and Methods (6) Results and discussion (7) Conclusion (8) References
It is required that:
The manuscript should begin with a bold title in capital letters followed by the name(s) and
full address(es) of author(s). The E-mail address of the corresponding author should be
asterisked. The Phone number should also be written. Authors of the same address should be
numbered accordingly
Abstract of not more than 250 words without paragraph should be followed by 6 keywords,
arranged alphabetically.
The Introduction should include related reviews of literature, aim and objectives of the
study.
The materials and method should provide the methodology that was used to generate
reliable results from the study
The Results and discussion should dwell on what was obtained from the study as it relates to
the title of paper.
The Conclusions should be aligned with the objectives of the study.
Tables, figures, Graphs and formulae should be inserted within the text at the proper
places. They should have brief captions and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals.
The Citations should be in consecutive numbers in square bracket. Example, ‘Polycyclic
aromatic hydrocarbons are associated with incomplete combustion ... . [1] or [1-3]. ‘As
reported by Allen et al., [4], …
References. References should be placed after the conclusions with the numbers appearing in
the order of their appearance in the text. The following reference forms should be adopted.
