About Our
Company
Our service will be fulfilling a blind spot
of a booming market. Our fast-
charging phone cases will be aimed to
help those in desperate need of a
charging boost. This innovative
logo
technology will be capable of
transferring one phone’s energy to
another.
Not only that, but if no phone is around, our exclusive and within reach charging
stations will be available to our clients with the same goal. To achieve this, the
further partnership of high-ranking brands will provide our services to the public.

Our first product will be targeted Colors available:
toward iPhone's that have the Qi
transfer technology.
This will include iPhone 8 and
later models.
Service available
Our exclusive and within reach charging station booths will be available to our
clients. To achieve this, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications have
already approved the development and distribution of our booths. These will be
located all over the cities of Santo Domingo and Santiago. Specifically, in areas and
avenues with more circulation of people. The charging stations will include E-Pair
charging pads for people to charge their phones on the way.
This will work the following way. Each user will be given a unique ID when
purchasing our product. When in need of a battery charger, clients will insert their ID
and receive a charger. At the moment of completion, clients will go to the nearest
station to return the charging pad. If not returned, repercussions will take place.

Our targeted audience is middle class to upper high class and in addition
corporations that wish to acquire our products. According to Acento, a national
newspaper, that would compose of 57% of civilians in the DR.

Technology behind it
The QI wireless power transfer standard, based on the wireless Power
Consortium, is the standard utilized for this project and the international
wireless charging standard. This standard combines the 5W, Baseline Power
Profile, and the 15W, the extended Power Profile, which allows different
devices to adapt easily. In principle, this wireless power transfer is “an open-air
transformer consisting of primary and secondary coils and associated
electronics.” (PCH)

According to PCH, as shown in Figure 2, a Qi Charger design is
made up of two subsystems: a Transmitter (Tx) and a Receiver
(Rx).
The Transmitter is constituted of integrated circuits and a
Transmitter coil that are utilized to change a DC low voltage (5
to 20VDC) power source to an AC high voltage of 50 to
100VAC. This AC voltage is employed to energize the
Transmitter resonance tank circuit to generate a tuned
magnetic field frequency in the range of 100KHz to 120KHz.
The Receiver (Rx) subsystem on the other hand is composed
of a specific set of ICs, along with the receiver coil, that
transform the magnetic field’s AC energy field back to DC
power that can then be employed to charge a battery.
This works through the process of:
1. Selection – the Transmitter oversees the charger surface for
the positioning of a receiver.
2. Ping – the Transmitter sends out a ping pulse and waits for
a response to determine if a Receiver is within range. If the
TX discovers an RX, it then proceeds.
3. ID and configuration – the Transmitter distinguishes the
selected Receiver and obtains configuration information.
4. Power Transfer – the Transmitter supplies power to the
Receiver.

Social problem
Recharging devices is a problem we face every day. During this pandemic,
technology was left for our disposition, and is something that is here to stay. We
could say our new environment is filled with technology devices. Our service will be
fulfilling this concern. Our e-pair phone case is here in charge of helping those who
need a boost of energy for their phones with a limited amount of time. You can use
it exclusively in our recharging stations throughout the country and with friends
around you, by just tapping each phone backs together.

A poll, made by Anker of U.S. consumers, amplified the knowledge that we
require for a more efficient charger.
The poll results showed the following:
The average U.S. consumer owns at least four mobile device chargers,
weekly they charge their devices, at least in three locations.
Nearly 31% experienced a dead battery daily and 47% weekly.
Two thirds of respondents would rather forget their toothbrush than their
phone charger.
Desperation for power is leading to bad effects on people behaviors, like:

In comparison to the U.S., E-pair got that nationally:

Why us?
1- Security
Our phone cases provide safety since when we have our cell-phone
charge, we can make a call or send an important message whenever
needed. If you are in a dangerous situation, you just click to call 911 or
families members. You can access the GPS system because it is a
fundamental tool to locate where you are or if you need to arrive in a new
place. Use of transportation apps, like Uber, is key. In the night, you will
need to use the app to go home. In addition, based on the survey we
acquired, nearly 31% experienced a dead battery daily and 47% weekly.
There are not always outlet around, neither chargers for your deposition.
The following proves the need of our product since we will be erasing the
risks of a battery dying and therefore, the risk of lack of security will
decrease.

2- The need to constantly charge
As the Anker poll previously mentioned highlighted, 54% of people’s
battery does not last all day long. Moreover, the amount of times
someone charges their phone outside, weekly, is at least in three
locations. With the following taken into consideration, we can
understand the importance of a product that erases the problem of
constantly having to charge a phone.
3- Better than the alternative
Another problem is normal (cable) chargers, especially the knockoff
chargers, because they can damage the phone battery. According to
Nichols, a technician with technology repair service company
Staymobile, “Cheaper chargers don’t necessarily have the standards in
place to fill your phone constantly with the correct voltage.” As well,
cable chargers might have a loose wire, provoking a poor transition of
energy. Forcing the person to use a different cable. Taking all into
consideration, this demonstrates the necessity of our products, since we
provide a practical and effective way to charge on the go.

FAQ's
What if I am alone and don't have anyone to transfer
battery life?
This is why we designed our E-Pair exclusive charging station booths and
charging pads. These are intended for our clients to still charge their
phones when they don't have anyone to transfer battery life. Located in
Santo Domingo and Santiago busiest zones, these booths will contain
charging pads that are only accessed with the user's one of a kind ID.
Won't the product cause overheating, affecting my
phone's battery?
Wireless devices that qualify as Qi-certified regulate the charging speed to
tackle the heat. When Qi-certified wireless chargers detect excessive heat,
it reduces the charging speeds. Lower energy output generates lower
heat, which protects your phone from battery damage. On the other hand,
wireless charging heats up the copper coil inside the phone and not the
battery itself. So, wireless charging produces marginally more heat than
wired charging, but it doesn't pose a threat to your phone's battery.
Will this be the only way to charge my phone?
Not at all, users will still be able to charge their phones with a wire. Our
product will not cause any disruption to the phone's lighting port.

Growing market
E-pair is projected to fulfill the sales forecast, since the phone case market is
growing. According to Grand Review Research, the market is evaluated to
increase at a compound annual growth rate of 7.5% from 2019 to 2025 to hit USD
35.5 billion by 2025. In addition, it is estimated that over one billion phone cases
are sold every year.
