1 EMPLOYEE CODE OF CONDUCT
1.1 General Responsibilities
On accepting an appointment with the company, employees shall pledge their acceptance to
abide by the company’s policies and procedures and to accept the code of conduct set forth
herewith or in the contract. They shall at all times discharge their duties honestly, efficiently
and diligently to preserve and promote the reputation of the company.
1.2 Employee Conduct
Any employee shall pursue following responsibilities:
a) Commit to the objectives of the company.
b) Employee should be responsible and dedicated to the assignments assigned to them.
c) Treat all colleagues and partners with personal and professional respect and
courtesy.
d) Respect the property of the company, using it economically and only for official purpose.
e) Respect personal and professional confidentiality.
f) Be willing to discuss and manage conflict in an open manner with a goal of reaching
resolution.
g) Employee shall be present in the office and at client’s place in a formal dress code as
directed by authority. This shall generally include shirt and pant (also skirts for girls).
Casual wear acceptable in professional setting will be allowed on Fridays.
h) Employee shall maintain professional and calm behaviour at all times. If there arise
any issue it shall be discussed with immediate senior or with the Company Authority
i) Employee shall use the word “Sir” or “Madam” to each and every staff at the client’s
place and make a respectful behaviour to the client’s staff.
j) Employee shall not seek any facility from the client except as directed by the Company.
k) Employee shall not use social media during office hours except during lunch breaks .
l) The assignment assigned to the employee should be completed within the stipulated
time. For any time extension employee shall seek approval from Company’s
authority.
m) No employee shall interrupt while his/her senior is having a conversation with the
client. If there are any issues to be addressed then that should be conveyed to the
senior separately (and not in front of the client).
n) Employee should be present at office or remotely at scheduled time mentioned by Company’s
Authority.
o) In case a employee completes his/her assigned task at client’s place before the
working hour he/she shall come to company’s office for remaining hour.
p) If a staff has to leave early from office or from client’s place before fifteen minutes
she/h shall obtain permission from his/her senior for time beyond that he/she shall
obtain permission from company authority.
q) The company maintains a conducive work environment that respects the dignity of
the individual, and that is free of all forms of discrimination and harassment. Conduct
or comments that do not respect an individual’s dignity are unwelcome, offensive and
will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary actions.
r) The company’s staff must not harass or discriminate against another staff member.
Such misbehaviour is a disciplinary offence. All complaints of harassment or
discrimination will be investigated and resolved promptly.
s) The company’s employees shall not engage in any political activity. If any employee
is found to be involved actively in the politics that extensively hampers the company
in whatsoever manner, is subject to disciplinary action.
t) If a client seeks any opinion and the employee is confused regarding the matter they
shall communicate to the client that the opinion will be provided to them after a
discussion with the company’s authority.
u) No employee shall seek any kind of personal help or benefit from client’s
office or client’s staff before obtaining permission from Company’s
authority.
v) Employee shall handle the property at o f f i c e & client’s place properly
and economically and shall not use for their personal benefit. The company’s
& client’s property should be duly returned back upon completion of the
work.
w) Staff should maintain their workplace neat and clean.
1.3 Disclosure of Information
a) The employees of the company shall not make public any confidential
information known to them by virtue of their employment in the company,
nor shall they use such information for personal advantage. These moral
obligations shall also continue upon leaving the company.
b) The employees shall consult with and take prior permission from the
company’s authority before making any information public.
1.4 Outside Employment
The employees must obtain prior approval of the Company’s authority before they
engage in any consultancy or outside assignment. To provide permission for
outside employment or any other outside consultancy solely rests on the
company’s discretion. Further, employee will not be provided for outside
employment during office hour of the company.
1.5 Right of Company over Intellectual Property
All intellectual property accruing from a employee’s work at the company belongs
to the company. Employees must not use or misuse intellectual property rights
of the company for personal or any other purpose which is against the company’s
interest. Employees must understand that the violation of this clause may result in
strict disciplinary action and even termination of the employment.
1.6 Discipline
a) The company’s authority may take disciplinary action against an employee
who demonstrates unsatisfactory conduct, who violates the responsibilities
or who disregards his/her obligation to the company.
b) While taking action pursuant to above Clauses, the employee shall be given
appropriate opportunity to submit the evidence in his/her favor.
