Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar:

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Anyone


of you attending the Friday (prayers)
should take a bath."

Ibn Abbas reported:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon


him, said, “Verily, Allah has made this day of Friday a
celebration for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday
prayer, let him bathe himself, apply perfume if he has it,
and use the toothstick (Miswak).”

Read Surah Al-
Kahf
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reports Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s
that the Prophet SAW said: Apostle (may peace be upon him)
as saying:
“Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf
on Jumu’ah will have If anyone learns by heart the first
illumination from the light ten verses of the Surat Al-Kahf,
from one Jumu’ah to the next.” he will be protected from the
Dajjal.
(Sahih muslim Book 004, Hadith 1766)

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) talked about Friday and said,


"There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a
Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from
Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand."
And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that
time with his hands.
