Description:
There are different applications provided to customer for money transfer like TMT, Prepaid, and
WU.COM etc. Same customer is identified differently in different applications. Challenge is to
identify the customer uniquely across all the applications. Therefore, all the customer profile
information from multiple databases is consolidated to a single database “UCD”. Systems are to be
reengineered to integrate with UCD. The purpose of UCD Web services is to build common services
which can be reused by any of the WU channels. The exposure of functionalities as a web service
will improve the maintainability and extensibility of the various channels.
Responsibilities:
• Used ADO.NET to connect to the database using the SQL Server. NET data provider.
• Responsible for Testing - unit testing, testing of all modules during any enhancements.
