the main concept of marpol is to protectt the marine environment. No to plastics. No to oil but in some
satisfyable circumstances, for as long as you're tanker vessel not in a special area and 50 nautical miles
away from the land with only 30 liters of instantaneous rate of discharge per nautical mile.
